H-1 revalidation tracker in St.Louis/Washington

I got my passport back yesterday but with a temporary refusal! :(

I had couple of questions in DS 157 that I had left blank instead of putting N/A.

I have to resubmit all the documents once again, but this time directly to Washington and seems they will send it back in couple of weeks.

Did they explicitly mention the reason for the refusal as
you have described it?

On the bright side, at least it looks like the refusal is
temporary! It will happen.. dont worry :)

I haven't seen any of the documents they sent back. My attorney got it and has already sent back the whole package to Washington this morning.
My attorney did mention that they have asked for D156 and D157 to be filled in once again specifically 2 questions on D157.

My attorney said its not a big deal and I will have my passport back within 2 weeks. (Hopefully :) )

Premium processing for revalidation?

Hi all,
Is there anything equivalent to H1 premium processing in case of H1 visa revalidation?

I am not aware of premium processing for visa revalidation.... I wouldnt mind going with the premium processing myself if available..... :)

Hi,

Can any one give me information regarding the photos to be sent for revalidation?

is it plain passport photgraphs with white back ground or the one they have in EAD's ?

also if i sent it this week (Oct 4th) will i get it back by December 1st??

Photographs should be facing forward with white background 1.5X1.5
Typically passports are being returned in 40 days.

I have received my passport today through FedEx, they have also stamped new visa on my passport, although they told me 3 weeks ago that my application is refused and they have send it back to me.

But anyway thanks God, b/c I have plans to visit abroad in December.:)

Revalidated after temp refusal.

Got my Passport with re-validated visa today.
I had got a temp. refusal on Sep 25, sent back all the required info on Sep 26, DOS recd it on Sep 27 and my Visa was issue on Oct 03.

i send on 9 sep and finishing 6 weeks on 18 . whats probablity to get stamp ? i have travelplans in nov last week .

Its taking around 39 days to get revalidated visas.
I had sent mine initially on Aug 15, got back with temp refusal on Sep 25 ( 39 days!). Sent back with reqd info on Sep 26 and got back with visa on Oct 7 with visa issued on Oct 3.

H1 Revalidation. Got Stamped

Sent 08/23/02 ( Friday ) at 5:00 pm by Fedex 2nd day Air
Recd 08/26/02 ( Monday ) at 8:00 am at St. Louis
Visa Issued : 10/03/02
Dispatched from Washington DC at 5:00pm on 10/07/02
Recd 10/08/02 at 10:00 am.

Sent following docs.

1.Letter from employer
2. Visa Application forms for self and family
3. Visa application supplimental form for self
4. Individual money orders; $75 + $65 for each application
5. Photo copy of H1 approval notice ( I-797A) showing new I-94 ( Not the original ).
6. Visa application set submitted to INS
7. Photocopy of latest paystubs
8. Passports with original I-94 stappled in it ( one which was issued at the time of last entry to USA.
9. 2 pp size photos in addition to the one stappled with application but I think not required as I got them back.

10. Self addressed return air bill ( Fedex).

Hope this will help others who are in the process of getting H1 revalidated.
