Guess what, My Java program send me our approval emails

My wife's and mine online status changed to APPROVED, today at 18:30PM CST.

My Java program which checks the status every hour, send this good news email today evening.

My child has a RFE which was issued on 02/13/04 and today I got the RFE notice from attorney, it was about tuberculosis test not indicated in her medical. Hope as soon as I send her RFE documents to INS her's will also get approved.

Thanks for everyone's help and support.

Question for GURU's

Questions for GURU'S.

1. I had booked tickets to visit INDIA in march 1st week, now I have only 10 days time, what if I get my approval notice in mail next week and I don't have enough time to stamp in passport, can I visit India using AP, and do the stamping after I come back.

2. Can I walk in for stamping as soon as I get approval notice or do I have to take appointment for stamping.
 
Walk in for stamping

One other guy who cancelled his ticket, just got it 2 days prior to his sisters marriage, rushed to the service center, got it stamped within 3 hours, and also booked the flight for todays marriage in India.

This is some where in another thread in this same forum.

So ... be positive, you will get it stamped. Go ahead and block the tickets.
 
One can go for stamping right away, i was picking up my approval letter from the attorneys office this past thursday, when i learnt that my dad passed away, so i had to go friday morning, to get the pp stamped and left to india right away....so i guess the answer to your question is yes one can get it stamped right away.....i just wish the circumstances were different
 
Another question

Since my child I-485 is still pending for the RFE requirment, Is there any problem if we get our passport stamped first and wait for my child approval notice. In this situation can I visit INDIA, will my child have problem returning back with her AP.

Actually the TB test for my child was done in her childhood, but the medical report did not specify it, may be the mistake of the Medical examiner. I had to redo it today.

I download your Java program and follow instruction to setup files. It does check my case status but doesn't send me email for message change. What did I do wrong?
(I copied mail.jar file to C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.0\lib\ext\.)
My company's email server is MS exchange server. How do I set SMTP address?

Please input. Thanks!

YOu need to update ins.dat file with your smtp server and your email address details.

edit your ins.dat file with your SMTP address and FROM and TO email address.
Note that your from email address should be a valid email address in your mail server (may be the requirement of your mail server).
 
Answering your Qs tm1965

Your kid can use AP.
Send the RFE docs as soon as possible.
If your local INS center allows online appointment booking (florida centers does) book an appointment on the afternoon the day before your departure.
If you receive your approvals and cannot make it to the INS office, you have to pretend that you did not recieve the approvals. When you enter USA after the trip back, use AP. The supervisor who does the secondary inspection will inform you that your case has been approved (Do a jig a jig a dance for the supervisor's benefit)
They will instruct you to get the stampiing within a certain date - deferred inspection.
Hopefully your kid will also get the approval.
