I sent I-485 form on Sept. 05. 2001 but I did\'nt get anything

I worry so much. I did not hear anything from INS, or lawyer.
does anyone receive finger print notice from INS?
Area is San Francisco, California.
Normally, how long does it take?
is it normal to spend that time to wait finger print?

My lawyer told me that we can make a fax enquiry if you haven\'t received the FP notice within 120 days of ND. Good Luck.

And the AVM stills has the same old recording....its taking 975 to 999 days....

Almost every september mailers got FP.... Since Yours is a SFO it should have been faster than Sanjose...

AVM still says "... 975 to 999 days...".
 
saw one case where it took 24 days to get msg change..

from fp done at 3/6 to msg change on 3/29 or so.
so I guess it could be taking 3+ weeks

Tried to do early FP in San Jose on Saturday. Did not allowed, because of too many people were there.
Went again on Wensday in 3PM. It took 10 minutes. San Jose ASC is a great place

Hi PCee,
My wife and I went to SJ center on 4/5 to get our FPs done. We arrived there at approx. 2pm and had our fingerprints done in 45 mins. The process was completely hassle free, we just had to wait for our number to be called.

On the side note, INS received response to EAD\'s RFE from my lawyer on 3/27. The EAD was approved on 4/2.

Can you please update my on-line information?
