With EAD you are open to work to do whatever you want. But 485
wont allow you to change your job catagory

EAD received

My wife received her EAD on 3/8 her RD is 11/19

We had been to the INS to get her iEAD on 3/4, so her
interim EAD was of very short use, I at least manage to use the iEAD to get her SSN!

Need help

Gurus please help me regarding 90 days count for getting iEAD from my RD on EAD.

My H1b expired and wanted to get EAD ASAP.

If I applied on December 24, 2001 (RD on EAD receipt), when should I eligible to get it iEAD? On March 24 or 25th?

What happens if I go on 24th or earlier? Is the IIO going to ask me to come back after 24th? or going to issue iEAD?

EAD for wife not received

Hi,

Received my EAD card a few weeks back, but my wife did not. Per AVM, her EAD card was approved and mailed out on Mar1. Presumable lost in mail. What should we do now ? Can we fo to the san jose INS center and ask for a EAD card ?

P001, yes some of them are typo.... But not EAD dates...

MD:12/11/01 ----> Correct.
RD: 12/17/01 ----> This is also typo it is Dec 17, 2001 not Dec 18, 2001
ND: 12/18/01 ---> This is typo... I corrected now
EAD approved 01/04/02 ---- This is not a typo. This is correct.
FP notice received 03/05/02 ---- This is not a typo. This is correct.

FP Scheduled 04/11/02 @ Oakland, CA ---- This is not a typo. This is correct.
I don\'t know how. i updated immediately after it is got approved.. by the name December18.

AVM for wife EAD still not updated , Received our EAD Cards today !!!

I received mine and my wife\'s EAD card today. AVM message for my wife
is still the same "your case was received...we send receipts.." . I checked today after receiving the cards, still same old message on AVM. Though for my case the AVM was updated correctly and it says this case has been approved.

Just to drop note to you guys, AVM is not fully reliable. I was under impression that my wife\'s case still hanging but I received her card along with mine :))

Has anyone received FP for around RD:11/05/01 ND:11/20/01 in SJC

Since the Dec guys are getting FPs, i was just curious if anyone with
RD and ND in Nov 01 have got FP.

Where did you read that December SJC guys got FP Notice? AFAIK, Oct RD guys are now receiving their FP notices.
 
Look at PCee\'s list for December..

rsingh01 is from oakland. Remember, people from other FP locations are getting their FP done at San Jose coz they are blindly accepting the FP notices without checking either the appointment date or the Location!
