Got the Approval Notices: A question

Hi Guys,

We got our approval notices yesterday. So thats the end of the tension. Now we have to go for passport stamping and I would like to get it done from the SFO Centre instead of SJ Center. I know from this board that we can go to SFO for stamping. But our approval notices have the Center name clearly mentioned - like they advised us to contact SJ Center for stamping! Is that unique to us or all the app. notices have the center mentioned. If I go to SFO with that mentioned in the app. notices, will that be a problem?

Please help me with a suggestion!

Case Assigned

Looks like I still have to wait a few more weeks.

I was told last Friday and again today that my case
was assigned. This time I remembered to ask when it
was assigned, the IIO said Feb 25th.

BTW I asked all the questions - is it adjudication ready, have
you received all background, etc.

SFO PP Stamping address?

Can someone please give me the address for SanFrancisco INS service center where I can do the passport stamping for my GC?

april rd\'s are mostly over but

half of may rd\'s are still pending

so I guess it will take a few weeks more to cover may and june and july rds

Everybody else - practise deep breathing. I have gone through ups
and downs in this 4.5 yr process and sometimes its easy to lose
it completely. However we shouldn\'t let the INS break our spirit.

Now I need to figure out if I should chance SFO or grin and bear it
in San Jose.

Long time reader, first time poster (probably only time!)

AVM updated 3/5. Wife and I got stamped Monday, San Jose office. Officer created a hassle because my picture was more than 30 days old. So I had to go out and get another set of pictures. Was allowed back in with special note from officer. After that no problem. Officer my wife went to accepted 9 month old pictures. Hey what can you say ?! :)
