Graduated from US university?

hi there!

I am Mexican, some people told me I have to be graduated from US University in order to work as a professional in the US. Is this correct?
Do I need to validate my career, I am Chemical Eng.

What other opinion do you need? the NAFTA regs do not specify where a bach degree is to be obtained (they ca nrequire a foreign degree to be evaluated). For engineering position though, you do need a degree. For some other TN positions, a diploma and experience are acceptable, in that case the 2-yr diploma must be from North America.

"Some People" is not the best source of information.
