Getting married in Massachusetts without social security number !!!

Okay I'm getting married soon,been here 10 years overstay my tourist visa,will get married to an US born citizen.

The problem is I don't have social security for the marriage application.

Questions !!!

Do I leave blank ?
Get a ITIN number and use it ?
Use a fake one ?

How does it work in Massachusetts ?

if you don't have SSN, you leave it blank.

Huh...But then don't I have to fill out the "job information" ? What if the clerk asks,why don't you have SSN ? Without SSN I can't get a job...In the clerks mind...

it is none of the clerk's concern. You are not obliged to have SSN, especially since you are not an immigrant or a non-immigrant authorized to work in the US.

Well not all visitors to the US overstay either. If a certain jurisdiction wants an SSN to marry you, get married elsewhere. Las Vegas is one such place
