GC arrived yesterday! Thank you!

Lock it up sounds safer in the longer term and i can carry a copy. I am not sure I understand the logic behind the law requiring all GC to carry their card 24/7. Anyone knows?

Nope. But it is THE LAW.

When I had a GC, I carried it on me simply because the literature that came with the card instructed me to do so.

This is similar to carrying your passport with I-94 with you all the time. You are supposed to, but no one does.

So did I when I had a GC. Carrying it is not as risky as people make it out to be.
