I did get visas from China, Korea, and Argentina.
I have been told (not direct personal experience) that UAE does not accept RPs.
Are you a national of any of the countries you listed?
Hello thankful,
Thank you for responding to my posting. No, I am not a national from any of the countries listed above. Do you remember what was the processing time for those countries you have applied for visas.
How do you like your Columbia experience? I assume you are finishing your third year?
Hey.
Russia will accept RTD and will issue the visa.
Did it couple of times.
Good luck.
P.S. Will cost you probably 150 to 200 dollars to open visa.
China: one week
Korea: two weeks
Argentina: like three weeks and had to call them to "remind" them.
Yes I am wrapping up my last year. It has been a fun ride.
Turkey accepts it and it takes them about two weeks to issue the visa.
does France,luxemborg, amsterdam accept RP?
This country is not in a list, but if you are curious, Permanent Resident can go to Switzerland without GC if he/she has NP or RTD. With RP you have to get a visa (which doesn't make any sense for me). Now with a united Europe ( and BTW Switzerland is not in Eropean Union but signed an agreement about freedom of move) you can get to Switzerland without visa and then take a train to any country of EU you want including France, luxemborg, amsterdam. Same with Germany if you have RTD. Good luck with your travelling.
You are incorrect. You can go to Switzerland with no visa IF you have a GC and either an RTD or NP. If you have a GC and RP, you need a visa.

Are you sure about this? I was in Zurich in Jan 2008 and had to go through passport control when I wanted to go to Germany.
I think Switzerland is not part of schengen travel zone until end of 2008. When they do become part of schengen, GC holders will require a visa. IF anybody know, correct me if I am wrong
