FOIA question,

I have dummy question. Can we submitt the FOIA/PA application to find out why the I485 is been waiting/pending other than requesting the documents?.

It says clearly on the form G-639, Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act Request....

Do not use this form:
(1) To determine status of pending applications, write to the
office where the application was filed or call the nearest
INS office.
 
I have a some questions regarding filling up Section 6 (Data NEEDED on SUBJECT of Record) on the form G-639. What should I enter in the following places?

- I-94 Admissions #:
I have two I-94s. One was given to me at the POE when I last entered United States. The other one came along with my recent H1-B transfer approval notice (I-797). Which number should I provide?

- Petition or Claim Receipt #:
Receipt number for what? I-140 or I-485?

What needs to be listed in the Section 5 (Information needed to search for records)?

Is this the list of documents attached with the FOIA request? What documents do I need to attach?
