about or not coz I have meet she once time in my life.
5. Do I have to call KCC for confirm that they got my doc.?

Thanks in adv,

1) depends on the size of your family. you will find the numbers in form I-864P on www.uscis.gov
2) if you find anybody who can sponsor you, he has to be a USC or a green card holder, have enough income (see q.1) and be willing to sponsor you. It can be a friend, or a relative, anybody. But just anybody will not want this kind of responsibility. Anyway, if you can show enough money on your own (assets, savings, job offer, etc.), you don't need an affidavit of support. You would have to bring the signed affidavit (form I-134 from www.uscis.gov) and proof of financial assets for the sponsor (listed on the form) to the interview.
3) I didn't understand what you are asking in the third question
4)the consular officer may ask who the sponsor is, how well you know each other, how long, and why in the world he or she wants to sign an affidavit for you (because it a big responsibility)
5) you can email them, or call them.

im filing my immigration papers now, but have some problems with affidavit of support. my husband made a hundred $ less than its supposed to be. but we made joint tax return and together we made much more. so can i include my income? the only problem is that i dont have work permit now. will that be a problem??? i tried to find a sponsor, but no one really wants this kind of responsibility

I find the original post to be confusing.

Are you a derivative asylee or did you win the diversity lottery? Or are you following to join a diversity lottery winner who has filed a petition on your behalf? You refer to DV and to AS8, but could also really be an F2? What immigrant category are you filing under?

Where are you now, in the U.S. or your Asian home country?

What are you applying for? A visa at a Consulate or adjustment of status with USCIS?

Please be more clear.

im in the united states now, i got married couple months ago and my husband and I are getting ready to file our papers. i came to the USA as a J1 student, now im applying for my greencard

laraka,

This is bubpha's thread. Please don't highjack other people's threads. You need to look up INA 212(e) and search the State Dept. website about J waivers.
