So today (8/12/09) I officially became a proud United States Citizen!!!!:D:D
Thanks again to everyone in this forum for helping me through this process. Those who are still waiting, I wish you all the best. I know that the wait seems long at times but it will all be worth it when you finally get to stand up and pledge allegiance to the greatest country in the world!!!! :)

Congrats.. Do you remember what questions were asked.

Hi every one,

I saw this site very interesting.
I got my inteview since June 17th 2009, passed both tests but was asked to provide additional documents which were sent July 13th. The IO told me that if she received the additional documents she will approve my application.
Since then I am waiting for my oath letter.
I called the 1800 number and talked with the Customer service who does not even know if I was interviewed(he only noted that the FP was done). I did ask him to talk to his Supervisor (Immigration Officer) and get connected to her, who looks up to her computer and found out my oath letter is on the way and will be receive in 2 weeks.

Question: since the 2 sources are too different, which of the 2 sources (Customer Service or his Supervisor) I should believe and why?
Please kindly revert with comments.

IOs have more info, so I'd go with what the second person told you. Just call them back if you haven't received IL within 2 weeks.

Thank you Bobsmyth for your kind reply.

I am waiting for my oath letter. How long is between the oath letter and the oath cermony in general?

Congrats Bugs,

I am about out the door for the long drive for my afternoon appointment. Guess which CD I will be playing in the truck on the way? :)

Just in case that is too obscure, I mean the Civics test Q&A CD. :D

Fingers crossed and sweaty palms.

With Raleigh DO, it's anywhere from same day to a few weeks after interview.

Thanks. I have posted the results of the interview under, "Phoenix interview PASSED with panic."

Now waiting for the OL. It has all been very smooth and fast so far, so I am extremely optimistic. I have not checked the Phx time line but I think Phx_Dude had his interview on the 19th of July and he showed his OL as the 25th. I am just about to check that as a guide for when to expect mine.

I am not going to feel relaxed until that Certificate and Passport are in my hands. :)
