I am filing green card for my mother as my sister is a citizen of USA.
My mother is currently in the US on B-2 visa and her I-94 date is 28th july. We have got most of the documents ready for her, but the police clearance certificate from india is still going to take 3 more weeks. Can i send her I-130 and I-485 form so that she can continue to stay here once her application is filed. Is there a chance that her application will get rejected because there is no police clearance certificate?
