Mamoo and everybody,

Thanks for the information. I got my wife's FP2 (mine has not arrived yet and probably returned ) notice forwarded from my old address and I realized that AR-11 is not enough to update your address. Today , I called USCIS to change my address and asked my wife to do the same. They said they will update my change of address on my pending I-485 Application .So call them to update your change of address information. Just be patient because it took me around 10 minutes before I could speak to a human being :)

Regards.

Hello picasso and nara1233,
I called USCIS and updated the change of address today. She told me that the information will be forwarded to NSC and I should hear from them in 30 days.
My lawyer claims to have mailed the USCIS about the change of address last year when we relocated. And guess what? We did not receive our FP2 directly from the USCIS!
Thank you both for sharing your experiences.

My wife got her FP2 notification yesterday scheduled for Dec last week. No e-mail notification though. I think I may also get FP2 in a day or two.
FYI - I am the primary applicant.

Got FP2 Notice

Hi guys,
I got FP2 notice for me and my wife which is scheduled on 12/28. I read some postings in this thread that people are going for early finger print if local office accept them before their scheduled date. Is this makes any diffrence in the processing of our I485 approval?. what is the trend this days from NSC in regard to approval of Feb2003 receipt dates?. Is any body approved yet while going for early FP2?. Please input your comments.
Thanks

FP2 done at Detroit

We had our FP2 done at Detroit office at 3:00 PM yesterday (11/26). We were pretty much the only applicants when we reached there, and the whole process took only 15 min.

I too got my FP for coming Tuesday that is 11/30/04. No e-mail notification though for my FP too.
The trend I am seeing is people are getting FP but not approval. Take the case of Japanese and (I think) 1024 (both Jan 2003 case). They both were finger printed more than 30-40 days back but not yet approved.
I think better will be start an excel sheet with everyone details. That would let us track the status. Let me take the initiative. But it will be week before I can do that.

Any new updates?

Hello,

Any new updates? I can see bothe Apr and May 2003 approvals in Rupnet. What about Feb approvals or RFE? Now I am due for FP2 too. I do not know when I am going to get my FP2. I will apply for my 3rd EAD tomorrow by e-file. Let's see what is going to happen.

Thanks

GM

Hi alok2004,

It seems to me that there is no big difference in going early and facing the wrath of those USCIS guys because it has not made any difference in approvals, LUDs or RFE. Most of us havent seen any activity though it has passed our official appointment dates. It might give you some personal comfort, but at the same creates more frustration since LUD doesnt change at all.
Make a choice, but dont keep much hopes
Good luck

Approved ! ! !

Here's my current status as of today ( online message changed today Feb 2,2005) :

Current Status:

On February 1, 2005, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Question ? How long does it take after RFE to get approval nowadays ? Crossing my fingers ...

Thanks !

Have a great day.
