Eoir 42b visa availability for FY 2019

Hi everyone! I just want to share with you all my GOOD news. It has been a really tough road for me. I think I had it all, you name it.

I can’t tell you how many times I’m on the verge of losing hope. But there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, guardian angels are everywhere. Just HAVE FAITH! It’s probably going to be another set of waiting game but I’ll worry about it next time. For now, I’ll be GRATEFUL for this - from the never ending pending status to GRANTED.

Verbal approval: 10/04/21
State: NJ
Congratulations!!!

I believe some people from 2022 will receive approval before October 2025, while most will likely start seeing approvals in late 2025 or early 2026. I pray that all remaining 2021 cases get approved first, as soon as possible, so we can start seeing 2022 approvals. I’m a New York 10/22 verbal.

Hi all! I’ve been reading your comments for a while and decided to join this supportive group. My dad, RF, has been in the U.S since 1999. He is now 65 years old. After years fighting his deportation order, immigration court appeals, and civil law suits against a previous federal administration, my dad had his 42B verbally granted on June 2023 in Boston. It’s been a draining (emotionally and financially) battle. His victory was our family’s happiest day. But In light of this current persecution against immigrants, I’m stressed and worried fearing these 42B green cards will not be honored. Should I be worrying about ICE not respecting his pending case? What have your lawyers said about it?
Just looking for some reassurance that my dad won’t face deportation again.
Thank you!

First of all, congratulations to your dad for this victory. I believe the hardest part is over for him. It's worrisome for everyone and not just the ones that are under 42B. I believe we will be fine. An immigration judge heard whatever we had to say and granted us based upon what we provided. I think we are in better position for now. I don't think your dad should worry much. Please enjoy this amazing news and stay positive.

Nothing yet.. I know I thought it'll be a bit easier. You need to make an infopass appointment. Let them know the urgency. If your parents or someone in your family is sick, ask them to send you the paperwork. It works if someone is sick in the family.
I called this Monday and told I need to travel next month for family reasons and agent put on the queue and told me I will get the call in 30 days. I hope that works, agent also told me that I supposed to receive GC within 30 days of the IJ grant.

Then where is it? Did you ask them? Just getting ridiculous day by day....

Congratulations. I can only imagine being here for so many years in this situation. It’s a relief. Time to breath and enjoy life with chin up.

You know, I have the same feeling. I work in the airport and I see cbp agents all the time and I’m always scared of being stopped by one of them despite my case has already been granted.
