Hi all! I’ve been reading your comments for a while and decided to join this supportive group. My dad, RF, has been in the U.S since 1999. He is now 65 years old. After years fighting his deportation order, immigration court appeals, and civil law suits against a previous federal administration, my dad had his 42B verbally granted on June 2023 in Boston. It’s been a draining (emotionally and financially) battle. His victory was our family’s happiest day. But In light of this current persecution against immigrants, I’m stressed and worried fearing these 42B green cards will not be honored. Should I be worrying about ICE not respecting his pending case? What have your lawyers said about it?
Just looking for some reassurance that my dad won’t face deportation again.
Thank you!
