Eoir 42b visa availability for FY 2019

Hey! My case was granted in December 2024. I am experiencing the same, the officer said my case was administratively closed one month before my case got granted. I have the final order in my hands, but I don't know what to expect. How did you resolve your situation?
Hello @Markus13 We called the USCIS number today, and they told us the same thing again—that the case has been closed since July of last year and that we need to reopen it. Since we never received the letter stating that the case was closed, they will send us an email with the letter confirming the administrative closure. This way, we can write a letter and send it to the local office to have the case re- open. We only have one year to reopen it .
We only have one year to reopen the case after the date it was supposedly closed.

Also in Las Vegas? I called multiple times for another appointment but I never get this call back. My lawyer is not even responding anymore. It's super frustrating. Weird enough sometimes I try to talk to USCIS over the phone and they say they cannot verify my address that never changed it's crazy.
Where are you Are you in Las Vegas? Is there anyone else here who lives in Las Vegas

To all my journey has now come to a close I received my GC yesterday. It has been a long journey but here are the timeline and my experience.
Verbal approval 10-21-21; judge decision 12-1-24; GC received 4-2-25
After I was approved I waited the 30 days and called for an info pass, I waited and nothing. Called back after 45 days and I was told they would get back to me via email or call, 20 days later I received an approval letter for asylum which was incorrect. Had to get another info pass appointment which I went to 3-10-25. At info pass I had to give them back the I-94 for asylum and fill out a form for eoir so they can review my case (this was done at the field office) what happened was my I-485 had been closed so they had to re-open it and then process my GC. Thank you to this group that kept my hopes up all these years and good luck to everyone else.

Wowww congratulations! And thank you for letting us know about your journey.

Good afternoon!

I received an email yesterday stating: "We have taken an action on your case." However, when I logged into my USCIS account, there were no updates or changes visible.

I’m a bit confused—should I be concerned, or just wait for further communication from USCIS?

Has anyone else received a similar email?

Thanks!

You should definitely Call the 1800 number or your lawyer. Have you received your granted letter from the judge?

Im in spring valley. it's just ridiculous. Just more ways to take money since it costs something around $700 to reopen it. My lawyer said we just need to wait and we don't need to do anything. They're all shit. Horrible to communicate. I received an email stating that the letter was attached to my account BUT my account doesn't have a feature to download anything nor my lawyer got any letter from them. Pathetic! Again, my layer said we don't need to reopen or do anything: the judges orders surpasses any application/form/whatever with USCIS

They do this to deliberately make your life harder. If they’ve taken action so to speak, why not describe in the status. Who in xx xxxx else would be interested in such information?
