Let me understand, you have a 42 b case approved (verbal approved, and waiting for GC) and you applied for advance parole in order to be able to get out of the country, so you got it and now you have a parole for 5 year? I ask you because I need to go to my country but I'm not sure if I is a good idea do it through an advance parole.

Hi welcome! So the EAD may take longer than expected. That’s normal wait time for c10. Hopefully you’ll get it soon.

My took 18 months. Only the good thing they send me for 5 years. I hope i don't have to renew before I get my GC
