Eoir 42b visa availability for FY 2019

Yes. I did. Advance parole approved for 5 years.
Let me understand, you have a 42 b case approved (verbal approved, and waiting for GC) and you applied for advance parole in order to be able to get out of the country, so you got it and now you have a parole for 5 year? I ask you because I need to go to my country but I'm not sure if I is a good idea do it through an advance parole.

5/29/2021 for new members :))
Chicago also 5/2021. Any news from you?
still pending.
The lawyer told me this,

I wanted to update you on your case. Unfortunately, there has been no change. We’ve submitted several motions, but they’ve been denied, and we’ve had no success beyond waiting for the order.

We remain hopeful for news this year.

No. Unfortunately we cannot speed things up with court. The problem is that they are only issued a certain amount of visas per calendar year for the country and once they are used up, they will not issue any more for that year. They granted more petitions than they had visas so that created a huge backlog. You are still on the list. The only thing we can do is wait.

Same thing for me too. They said to wait. Not sure what’s happening. Hopefully March we will get good news

Yeah same thing with me. We checked with the lawyer and they said we’re on the list and the only thing that we need to do is wait. He also said there’s nothing to worry about what’s going on since we already received the verbal approval.

Hi Chicago 21

Thank you for sharing the information.

Does your post mean that your attorney filed a motion with the court requesting an expedite grant of your case?

Thx
