EB3 with current PD

Possible RFE for me

I received a letter from local senator that VSC is in the process of sending an RFE to my lawyer. No LUD on out I-485 since 02/22/07. I have already informed my lawyer about this and eagerly awaiting for an RFE like you. Very Bad...
 
I am in a similar boat as most of you. The local congressman told me that my file went to the adjudicators desk on 02/26/07. But there is not even an LUD change since. The congressman said that we will have to wait 5-6 weeks before we inquire again.
Is it possible that I am going to get an RFE? Should I call VSC again to inquire about my status?

Hopefully, your waiting game would come to a +ve end soon - it might be just FP related issue. Both me and my wife received notices for getting 2nd FPs done almost 2-3 months prior to getting approved.

BTW are you about to change jobs - or have you already done so. If so, then have you already applied for AC-21 - as that might delay your process by another couple of months.

Did your's and your wife get approved the same day ? Was there a delay ?

Was your wife's FBI Name Check cleared ? Was it a H4 or H1B based approval ?

-- No, her's got approved almost 3 months after mine.

Was there a delay if so any idea the reason behind it ?
-- My guess is, the reason for delay would be that I filed her 485 3 months after I file mine.

Was your wife's FBI Name Check cleared along with yours ?
-- From the information I received from the senator's office the delay in my case asjudication was because of my name check and not my wife's.

Was it a H4 or H1B based approval in case of your spouse ?
-- My wife's case approval was an H4 based.

I am TSC applicant, my application was filed in VSC but later on it was transferred to TSC during submission time only.

From my lawyer while inquiring my case, they just asked the SRC number and I think alien number, that's it. Then they gave my lawyer a reference number to track.

I don't know how to track with that reference number as I called few days ago to inquire that how is my inquiry going on. The representative said that she can not check by Inquiry reference number and I should wait for 45 days to recieve response for my inquiry.

Recieved 3 approval mails just now for my case. Still waiting for spouse's approval. Seems we need to start a new thread for spose's approvals :)

So up until now it was only me ; pallu & I guess EB1 ; welcome to the club.

Can you please post your spouse details like ??

1. H1 or H4 ?
2. FP2 filed separtely or on the same date ?
3. FP2 received by VSC on the same date ?
4. Did you check if spouse's FBI name check is complete ?
5. Did you call VSC ?

FP2 requests recieved on same day and attended on same day 02/22
3. FP2 received by VSC on the same date ?
No idea. There was no message change, but there were LUDs on both files on same days till yesterday
4. Did you check if spouse's FBI name check is complete ?
I checked for our name check status latest on Dec 29th through infopass and both of our cases were pending at that time. I have a case opened with local cong. man in Sep 06 and they are pinging every 3 months to check the status. Next inq will be end of march.
5. Did you call VSC ?
I took infopass appointment on 29th Dec. Also we applied for 3rd EAD and AP renewals in Jan 07 and there is an RFE issued on them. Still waiting for RFE :)
