EB3 approvals from March 1st 2006 - PD current

You won't see to many .. BECAUSE

It should be abvious to all of us that there just aren't a whole lot of EB3 PDs before Jan 2001 for any country. I do not expect to see to many approvals at all this month in the EB3 category. Until the dates move into 02 for EB3s or until 245i cases flood the system, the USCIS will continue to enjoy an extended vacation. They will continue to approve a few APs and EADs here and there while enjoying a much ligther work load.

think still plenty of them, however one would see approvals towards mar end only

I do beleive that there are a LOT of 02 PDs out there.

no I was comapring with the activity before the march bulletin
where only handful of cases about less than 10 would come out in the forum with current PD, compared to that think we have about 50-60 cases for sure which are current in Mar 06

When an application has the preliminary processing completed in VSC and is transfered to BOS for interview, means that "name check is cleared" for that applicant?

jhawilla, I have no idea how you can find out if the name check cleared, I tried to call FBI myself and they transferred me to an automated line that said to inquire for status with the organization that requested it. I wondered if they cleared my fingerprints that I took in Jan 31 myself or our cases are waiting to be approved because of that....who knows? But if your case is still in VSC you should be able to call them and ask them about the name check; in my case VSC could not tell me anything because our case is in Philly and VSC does not have current status. Hope that helps!

About the NC, they received something from FBI and they cannot give any info about it.

I have almost same dates as your case..
After reading your post I also called VSC. The lady on the phone told me something that I have never heard before. She mentioned that with the employment based applications it sometimes takes too long because employer doesn't respond to the mail send by CIS.. Is this for real, I mean I heard about RFEs but they are send to the applicant not the employer right?
She told me to contact my employer and see if they received anything regarding my case.
And she also said it is possible that there is something missing in my case and that's why they sent it back to VSC. After it is solved she said they will most likely send back the case to the local office for an interview
This means at least 1 more year wait for me..
After I talked to her I lost all my hope..
Ohh.. One more thing.. She said if it has been more that one and a half years since I went for fingerprinting, I should call and schedule an appointment for fingerprinting.. She said call CIS number and push 1-4-5-1 to speak to someone who can schedule an appointment.
Well it has been more than 1.5 years, so I called like she said.. another lady answered and told me I have to have a mail from CIS and then schedule the app. However, she gave me an app. at Norfolk for tommorrow morning after I insisted. She told me I can try giving fingerprints Although she is not sure if they would accept. We will find out tomorrow morning..
I hope the first lady I talked to is wrong about the 2nd transfer to the local office.. I just hope!
