Finger Prints expired after 15 mo.

They may be wrong

If this is any solace....

Whenever I called VSC, I always had bad experince. Sometimes the customer support people don't know what they are talking of. They use their own knowledge and tell something.

Back in last July when retrogression was announced, the lady on phone said that if you have a receipt number then visa number is already allocated to you. So, if they are talking something way off then what is normally understood, then they are talking BS.

Well good news about the fingerprints.. I had an appointment for this morning. I went to the usual Norfolk office and found out that they moved fingerprinting section of the office to a different building which is called Application support center. It was only two blocks away so I was on time. The first thing they asked me was the appointment letter. I said I don't have it and showed them my app. confirmation number. First two people I spoke to didn't know what to do with me. Then came a supervisor and I explained her my situation (my fingerprints expired and I called VSC they told me to make an app. and go for fingerprinting) She was really helpful even though I didn't have a letter she gave me a referral letter that I filled out. I think this was necessary beacuse I didn't have a letter from CIS. Well.. everything went fine , now I need to repeat this for my wife and children..

For those of you whose fingerprints are expired, you can try my approach but if that supervisor wasn't so helpful I wouldn't got all this done.. But I say, try your luck..

Gala1905,
Thanks for sharing info.
Can you please clearify on number to call.
I would guess, first I have to call Customer Service Number - 1800-375-5283
Then 1 for english
Then What? At what stage I have to punch 1451? (Actually next 1 is address change.)

Ok.. 1800-375-5283
Then 1 for english
after this don't wait for the automated message just press this numbers respectively leaving 3-4 sec in between punches..
1-4-5-1-3
Last 3 means you actually received a notice to make an appointment.
I went with this since VSC officer told me to call for a fingerprint appointment. I told this to the person who answered and she said I have to have a letter but then she gave me an appointment anyways.. When you talk to them just try to get an appointment and confirmation number.. Because I had this, they were willing to help me at the Application support center.

I hope it works out for you too..

Thanks.
I'll try this and post my experience.

Saw an LUD today

My PD is August 2000. There was an LUD on my case(primary)today. :) No LUD on my spouse's 485. Keeping my fingers crossed to receive the magic email. Guys, please pray for me.

All the best to all of us.GOD BLESS

EB3 processing probably from the mid of the month

yes I have noticed that VSC is approving all EB2 cases and EB3 though current seem to be put on hold.

VSC might start approving EB3 cases starting around the middle of this month.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Great news! but this cases weren`t in our Boat. They are EB2 cases and never got transfered back to VSC. I guess all EB3s are on hold now and they are approving EB2s and Politic Asylun cases. How many still left?

LUD Changed

My LUD also changed for I-485.

Surprisingly they changed the LUD on my AP on 03/03/3006 when it was alread yapproved on 02/23/2006!!! What does it mean?

This happened with my EAD. After they approved it in february, LUD changed again a few days ago. I really don't know what this means. You got your green card so don't worry about it. I don't think they will take it back ;) ..

Eb3

Same boat as many of you EB3 guys and gals. :(

PD: Current
ND: 12/13/2004
Non-retrogress country
LUD: 03/28/2005 (FP results recieved), 02/03/2006, 03/01/2006 - No message change.

Called VSC and opened an inquiry this week.

Last year a VSC rep told me that they had gotten back my FP check results and the case was awaiting being assigned to an officer (hopefully that means that NC was cleared, as well).

Hello everyone...

My case is also same as above. Opened up enquiry last week. Does it really help? What happens next. Thx

My LUD changed on APs one month after approval. No idea why.

LUD change on Name Check results being entered into the Computer?

Has anyone tracked whether name check results being entered into the computer result in an LUD change?
