MAY 2008 Bulletin published by MUMBAI-CONSULATE!

Narendratb, a member here at this portal has done a great job of posting this news in one of the other threads.

Let us hope the dates remain the same when the bulletin is published here by the DOS. I am pleased with the movement of dates for India in EB-2 and EB-3 especially because of the fact that they are moving the dates slowly by a month or months ahead instead of moving them by years and then later retrogress the dates by years.

So the information you received from CR on your call to USCIS is correct. The date did not go back. I agree with you instead of moving by years and retrogress again. This one month movement is good and if this standard every month atleast every one can wait for their turn with expectation.

What is the status of Processing date? If those dates at the center are not moving further, no point even though your PD becomes current. It is one more variable in equation now.
 
Yes You are correct. But I do not trust the processing date that they published in the website. If it is Apr 07 for TSC, how we see approvals for who applied in June 07 also. I remember that some one told me that USCIS may publish one or two months behind always in website than the date they process currently. So I think they process June or July now. But one thing confuses me in our current situation. Will they consider the RD or ND for this process time?

I got my approval Email today - includes all 3 family members.
Message received :
On April 11, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we had registered new permanent resident status. . Your new card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT
processing , whichever is later.......
So looks my long chase for the elusive GC ended on a happy note.

I finally got the magic email from our elusive friend CRIS confirming the status change to "Card Production Ordered" for both me and my spouse. Card will be mailed in 30 days. After five long years it was sweet to get the confirmation.
For people who have gone through this, is there any feedback on how long does it really take for them to mail the card.
For the people who are still waiting, looks like the end is in site.
Thanks for the all the support. I will continue to monitor the forum.
