Any Draft to send letter to Senator

My Attorney told me to handover a request to Senator. He feels that atleast USCIS will pick up the file, if Senator queries about my file. There may be a chance to get approved in this case.

Can any one guide me what to write to Senator? If any format you have please let me know, I will follow it. Thanks

Received an RFE for my wife's case. Normally how much time does it take once the RFE has been replied to get the approval ?

I dont think you have passed 30 days since the processing dates of TSC which is June 21.

your PD is current but TSC processing time has to be over 30 days for them to respond.

I would suggest wait for some time(30 days passing) and then take action.

Called today IO said check online status.

I said it is same for 3 months nothing has changed, he said again check online status. Also said they have cases from 2-3 years and my case just one year old.
I will call them next week again.

All,

I dont have any clue why my file is not being picked up? I see there are many like my case in the above list.

Guys lets us figure out what we can do? What options we have?

In last Novemebr when the PD was current I raised SR and got the typical answer after a month that the case needs "extented review" Last month I raised another SR last week I got similar answer but now it is pending for " additional Review". As per the letter I need to wait for another six months before I raise another SR.

What can be done at our end to expedite or to trigger the processing of the dust accumulating files like in our cases?

Please suggest.

Hi Friends,

I have been a "Silent Spectator" for the last 2 months following messages posted on this thread, My priority date falls under the requirements for this thread. The information shared by different members has been very useful to me to keep abreast of what is in store for me regarding my I-485 approval. I am thankful to all of you for that.

I would like to share some information on my own side with you guys. My I-485 was approved on June 2nd, 2008. Both I and my wife received the physical cards on June 9th, 2008.

Here are brief details of the immigration processing I have undergone. Hope it will be useful to you in the same way:

1) Labor application filed in August 2003 (Under EB2 RIR)
2) Employer received 45 day notice in 2005 to push my Labor application to Backlog center
3) Labor approval from Backlog center in October 2006
4) I-140 at TSC - RD: October 19th, 2006, ND: October 24th 2006, AD: November 24th 2006
5) EAD (both me and spouse) at TSC - RD: June 20th 2007, ND: July 24th 2007, AD: August 14th 2007
6) Advance Parole (AP) at TSC - RD: June 20th 2007, ND: July 24th 2007, AD (for me): August 17th 2007, AD (for spouse): September 14th 2007
There is was Intent To Deny notice sent to Lawyer office for my wife's AP application. The Lawyer office promptly sent the requested information to USCIS leading to approval.
7) I-485 (both me and spouse) at TSC - RD: June 20th 2007, ND: July 24th 2007, AD: June 2nd, 2008.
LUDs on 12/14/2007, 12/16/2007 (not sure of dates)
Received Card Production Ordered email on June 3rd, 2008
Received Card Mailed Email on June 6th 2008
Received Approval Notice by Mail on June 7th 2008
Received Physical Cards by Mail on June 9th 2008

Earlier to approval, I had tried calling TSC a couple of times in last 2 months (based on experiences posted by different members on this forum), but never got any straight forward response from any of the representatives I talked to.

I sincerely hope everybody gets their piece of cake very soon. I am thankful to Immigration Portal for providing such an excelled platform for exchanging views and information about all matters pertaining to immigration.

There were no LUD after the finger prints, where everybody saying that they see 2 LUDs after FP. There is only one LUD on both 485's when we changed our address last month. After that direct card production email yesterday. There were no RFE's on my case. I have changed my employer using AC21 last month. My new company lawer informed NSC regarding my job change with necessary documents.

Please let me know if you need any further information on my case. I will be happy to share.

My PD became current this month and I sent in AC21 docs last month too. Hope to see approval soon. As per NSC IO yesterday my case is "waiting to be assigned to officer"

Questions:

1.) Do you think your lawyer sending AC21 docs last month somehow
delayed the case a bit ?
2.) Did you call NSC to get any status updates since your PD got current ?

I dodn't think AC21 docs delayed my process. Only I was worried is AC21 will trigger any addinal RFE on my case. This is because my current salary is much more than my salary listed on LC.

I have called several times in last few weeks and talked to different IOs using POJ method. Everybody said that all my security checks completed and the case is with the officer under review.

Three weeks ago I have contacted my local sanator and requested her to enquire about my case. I am expecting one of the following factor might have triggered or I may be wrong

1. Cahnge Of Address in May 2008. (There was an LUD)
2. AC21 filed in May 2008
3. Sanator's Enquiry about my case in May 2008
4. EAD and AP renewals filed in May 2008

I think using AC21 is a blessing in disguise. When I invoked my AC21, my case got approved in a month as if they picked up my case once I submitted AC21.

I have seen few other cases in this forum with similar outcome.
