EB1 Outstanding Research Tracker

Hi all,
I got passport stamped in san diego yesterday. It was a painful wait for over 2yrs for this to get through. Mine was AC21 case too,changed job before EB1OR approval but things went on ok. I take now change of job as blessing. To all the friends waiting- donot loose hope, I know its not easy but thigs will get through soon for you all, just hang in there, I had been in the same scenario and stress.

Two little questions:

1) The stamp is equivalent to the card for practical purposes right ?
2) Did they ask any question during stamping ? Or is it just giving the passport and getting a stamp ?

second FP mailed to old address

Anybody who has experienced that your finer print notice was sent to old address. I called USCIS two times to update address change, but it does not seem like update my address yet. How can I change local office for finger print??
My local office on the notice is Philladepia, but I want to take my finger print in Alxandria. Can I just visit Alxandria office without appointment and ask them if I take finger print?? Any experience? It will be great help if you add your experience.
 
CIS keeps sending letters to old address

My husband and I called CIS to update our address and also received confirmation letter. But they still keep sending the letters to old address. We just received the Finger Print notice for my husband which was sent to old address and returned to CIS. I still did not receive mine yet. (my lawyer have received the notices for both of us for a while.)

I would give it a try, they'll probably do it, and the worst that could happen is that they say no. They seem not to care too much, as long as you have the FP note with you. You can try the fingerprinting Forum for more info, see the link on the tracker in this thread ... also, could you add your case to the tracker ?

New Processing Date

Guys

FYI, the new processing dates came out yesterday. VSC I-485 has moved forward over 2 months to November 12 2002. That's encouraging!

Yes, the stamp on the PP is as good as the plastic card, it has validity of 1yr. They didnot ask any questions just took the passport and it took barely couple mins though had to wait in line for over an hr. I realised that infopass appt time is just to enter the building its not the appt time.
and one more suggestion-take photocopies of all your documents with you. In sandiego for passport stamping they asked for copy of passport luckily I had copies of all documents so no problem.
does anyone know how long it takes for the plastic card to come?

For what I grasped in the FingerPrinting Forum, it seems that they tell you it'll take a few months, but most people are getting them in a couple weeks. I think there is a dedicated thread or forum for tracking the plastic card

Guys: is there a change in activity or posting after your FP? also, anybody here have any idea as to how long it takes after first fp nowadaya? mine was non-concurrent.

Congrats laptop, only 3 weeks time since FP2. I think they have a tendency to approve faster the cases that are close or behind the current processing time.

Could you please add yourself to the tracker as a reference ?

Here is an update on the from FP2 until Approval waiting time, now I added laptop's approval. Small change in the figures really.

Only approved cases are listed.

Standard Deviation: 19 days

Of course, low sample statistics, but it gives an idea of what to expect ...

They resquested a copy of your passport? What else did they ask for exactly? please let us know.

O brother, I knew you'd not let this one slip through ;)

I think it the one mentioned in the Ii845 Receipt, where it says "Your application was received on XXXXX" - That's what I'l lassume when I call USCIS later today or tomorrow

you made me read my notice again :). There is one for the reception and another for the notice sent out. I think the dates posted are those of when the application is received. Mine is Nov 19th, 2002. I will have to wake hopefully another month to see the processing date jump 1 month past Nov 19th to request a status check on my case.
