Well, sounds like a no-brainer. I'd call USCIS 1800 and find out. Most likely it is what you think: they updated your online status now, but they refer to the FP2 notice they sent you a while ago. Why would they do that ? Becuase the online status mainteinance is caothic. They put things in there by hand when they have a chance, it really is totally inconsistent.

Allright !!!
At this point I feel like a latino superstar in a cheesy soap opera. Here goes the series of events:
Oct 20: my LUD changes, my wife's too - No email or online message
Oct 21: my LUD changes again, my wife's too - No email or online message
Oct 22: my LUD changes one more time, and I get this message (both online and via email)
This is in response to my case inquiry (I did it on the phone a week or so ago). What the heck is going on !!!!! Me wonders
I mean, what's the typical response to a case inquiry ? I would have hoped it is just a timely approval Any insights, appreciated.

What we want is improvement in hard part i.e approving the pettions(they won't doing it! is EAD or AP cash cows???). A friend of mine who applied in june 2002 started case stauts inquiry few months ago and got a same response(as yours)in on line,e.mail and hard copy mail. I am sorry to discourage you( I am also in the same boat! any way!) But hey! you never know about USCIS!

In other words, my online status is a confirmation that I am still waiting. But it's good to know that this is standard, that they send you some sort of standarized message on the mail. I agree in everything you say, too.
Oh, how about your friend, is she/he still waiting ? It sounds like he/she is still waiting

Hello, I Have Done My Dependents Fp Today At Newark, Mine Is On Nov-2, We Asked Them To Done Mine Today As We Are Husband And Wife But They Told Me To Come On The Day Of Notice. I Did Asked My Lawer About My Medical Because I Have Not Submitted My Medical, My Lawer Told Me To Do It(medical) After My Fp. He Said That I Can Take The Medical Report (that Sealed Envelope ) On The Day Of My Interview. What Do You Say? Do I Need To Force Him To Send My Medical Just After I Will Do My Fp? How Long It Will Take For Interview After The Fp Is Done?

Ok. I don't get it. First, I am sorry they wouldn't let you get your FP done, they could have. This is really annoying. But you'll do it soon anyways.
Regarding the medicals, it is just ... I don't wanna be harsh, but I can't see your lawyer's point. Is she/he any competent ? As far as I know, the interview is not mandatory, and in our category it is not uncommon to go with no interview at all. So, what is your lawyer thinking ? I don't know. Unless he/she has a secret weapon: if you don't send medicals, maybe you force an interview and you get a faster approval. This is something unheard of, at least by me. Other than that, your lawyer is making you waste precious time as far as I can see. I remember that las time we talked about this other people agreed on this opinion.
Time-frame between FP2 and approval is about 1-2 months or so, please look up my specific tracker on this precise timeframe, above on this thread. But you are in worsee shape because you don't have medicals done, I would think.

I started my case status inquiry on OCT.21, 3.45p.m to be exact. Fortunately rep has accepted my inquiry.mendieta said:
As you may know there was a big confusion on that day, USCIS keep changing (back&forth) the processing times from Oct.21 to Oct.6 back toOct. 21 at least five to six times. I read in other threads that for some folks- USCIS reps were not accepting the inquiry.
