Woh... that is the best RFE I have ever seen, sounds like an invitation for granting you the approval ! A simply 'YES' will just do !!!! Congrats !!!
 
By the way, I saw another case whose number is close to mine got an RFE (RD 5/14/03) asking for additional evidence... Don't know what category it is ... but wish they will pick up my file soon ... keep finger crossed !

sorry to hear about that you received RFE. its frustrating that after 18months of wait they ask for further evidences, crazy people, I think they donot respect we who apply through EA1 priority criteria.
did you apply for EAD? and got that approved?
I am also waiting to see result of my EB1-OR since may? its scary

EAD approved long back

Yes you are right. They don't care whether it is EB1 or EB2.
I got my EAD & AP approved last Dec (Dec 06 2002).
I-484 ( RD - Sep 27 2002
ND - Oct 06 2002)

It was really frusturating to wait for such a long time (18 months) and one way it is good that at least my file is opened.
I am expecting that they might ask me for the pay stub and they might wish to know if I am still employed and get the salary specified when I applied for my I-140. Other RFEs I see is about the tax filings for the past three years. Let me wait till I see the RFE.

It was very "helpful" for me to receive RFE in the beginning of August, when everyone was at vacation.

But it was some progress. Other applicants from my mailing date April 24, 2002 still see this message: it takes for us 360 days to send you at least an RFE ...

Hi Mo

I got RFE by mail after 12 days.

The RFEs clearly indicate that they don't read any of the document we send them and they simply pick one of the
listed usual RFEs they normally ask and send it out. The reason why I am feeling so will be clear once you read the RFEs

1. I have to provide evidence that I have three years of
research experience

( I have shown that I have 12 years of research experience.
My first publication came in 1990 and I have more than 30+ publications
so far and I am working in a R & D division of a major semiconductor manufacturer
for the past two years).

2. I have show further evidence (three more reco letters) that I am an
Outstanding Researcher.

( I have provided already 6 reco letters)

a. from a scientist who is listed in top 20 in his field
also a former Head of Silicon Processing Division in Bell Labs
b. from a scientist who produced 50 Ph.Ds and 400 + publications
and also a pioneer in inventing one of the major Phenomenon in Physics
C. from a scientist who produced 30 + Ph.Ds and 300 + publications
(member of Scientific advisory committes of 12 different countries
which includes NSF, USA, Germany, Austria and Japan
D. from a scientist who produced 30 + Ph.Ds and 300 + Publications
and occupies a top position in Applied Physics FOrum in Japan.
E. from a Scientist from a US National Lab

etc.

On top of it, I also showed that I am Alexander von Humboldt Fellow which is also
a prestigious fellowship.

A couple of my papers were cited by top guys in my field and that too in Physical
Review Letters (PRL) etc.
