EAD Tracking for July/Aug 2001 Applicant

EAD Card ?

Did the AVM say that it will take 30-70 days for processing the card OR for the actual processing of EAD itself ?

EAD approved !!(AVM says plastic card ordered, what does it mean?)

Approved 24th Oct(AVM says 24th Oct but doesn\'t say \'approved\')

AVM says Plastic card has been ordered and will be mailed to you, this procedure takes 30 - 75 days what does it mean.
 
EAD update

This is an update to my earlier message. My EAD got approved on 10/23/2001 and the AVM said the card has been mailed.

My wife\'s EAD approved on 10/24/2001 per AVM, which also said that new card ordered, process takes 30-75 days. What does this mean? Anybody who had similar message, but got their EAD\'s earlier then 30-75 days.

package mailed on 08/03/01. didnt have any update since then until this afternoon. received EAD for self and spouse by mail. dont have any further info yet about RD, ND etc.

I recd EAD for spouse & self today. Also recd AP.
 Hari T , In reply to your qt: On Oct 22, message said EAD was approved but would take 30-70 days to process card. I was very surprised to receive it today. What next? When can I expect FP notices.

Please post your EAD and AP approvals to track INS processing.

My info:

LIN-01-270-????????

RD: 8/15/2001
ND: 9/21/2001
EAD approval: 10/25/2001

After reading all the above discussions I have came to following conclusion:

INS is processing and approving for each ND.
E.g. For ND 9/21, EAD will be approved by 10/25, with some exceptions
For ND 9/20, EAD will be approved by 10/24. etc

I verified on 10/25, even at 11:30 p.m. CST, my application was not approved.
But when I verified on 10/26 at 7:30 am CST, I heard recording saying my application was approved on 10/25.

I think INS is running some nightly batch program that updates OLAP from OLTP.

So we can confidently guess from the above discussions when our EAD will be approved.

All this is per AVM...it also says 30-75 days for the card which it always does...so expecting the cards anytime in couple of weeks.
