EAD Timeline: Updated

EAD renewal

Hi,
Is the timeline for EAD renewal different from getting an EAD. Would the National Benefits Center processing date be the one to look at? My receipt date is May15 and I need to travel next month -- any suggestions on whether one could try to request an expedite? Also, is there an advance parole timeline on this site?

90 days have passed and nothing for me... :(
No EAD, no interview notice, not even an update.
I'm really freaking out now :confused:

My INFOPASS is scheduled for June 21 in the morning.
I will have to take a few hours off from work to get my work permit - isn't that ironic??? :)

06/07/2006 - I485 - On June 3, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence

05/25/2006 - I130 - Your I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was received on April 25, 2006. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete

05/25/2006 - I765 - Your I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION was received on April 25, 2006. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.

Venus, that really sucks. Hope the Infopass will clear things up for you. Please let us know how that went, ok?

I don't know if the renewal is different from the actual EAD. But you can find AP statistics and other useful info in Ari4u's AOS Interview Timeline thread.

I haven't found an actual AP Timeline thread, though. Usually they are being processed pretty fast.

I sure hope so, that is a huge jump for where it was last week! Running_Swede we have the same ND and my LUD was 6/20 for the 485/765..seems like our cases are running in step. I have not received any type of RFE, hopefully this far along I won't :)
 
Homermn2001, I certainly would think that you are in the clear now regarding RFEs. My LUD for I765 is stuck at 5/30, but I have had two updates in the past three days on my I485 (6/19 and 6/21). Could an interview letter be coming my way? :D
 
Can I apply for EAD...

Hello Guys;
I just got my i-140 approved and I know that I have to wait for i-485 to apply b'coz my pd is nov 02.
Can I apply for EAD for me and my wife?. may be this question is so silly. but for just to confirm. Please let me know someone.

I think u posted in the wrong thread, this is for family based Gc thru marriage or relative urs is employment based(I-140).

That's great, Venus. Did you ask about your case or why your EAD is taking so long?

Yeah, I did ask. And they said it was because I had two different A numbers and they didn't know what to do with it. It's a long story but to cut it short my ex-attorney screwed me over - never sent my papers and when I found out and wanted my money back he mailed it not telling me about it. So I mailed my own set of papers and had two concurrent cases pending. I sent a cancellation letter for one of them but USCIS never took action. So hopefully after I explained everything they will take care of it.
 
Approval e-mail

ND: 04/14/06, FP: 06/02/06, yesterday we got the e-mail that my wife's EAD was approved on 06/27/06. We have the interview on 07/31...
