EAD Card Returned

Hi ,

My EAD card is returned back to INS. I registered an Inquiry with BCIS call center to resent it again. More than 30 days have passed but INS has not dispatched the card again so far. Do the INS really act on this kind of Inquiry from BCIS call center?

Any Ideas? Any one experienced the same problem.

No I have not changed my address.

On October 6th, 2003 I recieved my receipt on the same address.
On october 8th My card got approved.
On october 11th , they dispatched it.
On october 27th, It returned back saying they could not deliver it.

It is a kind of stuck there.

You need to call them 14 days to make them send the EAD. After some time all undeliverable mail are put in storage.

I have already called them on 27th October But still they have not post it. Almost 30 days are over after that. No clue what to do next. When I call the BCIS call center, they say we will take another request only after 30 days. So very hopeless situation.

I was in the same situation for about an year. Atlast last week i called my local congressman's office. In 3 days we got the EAD to the new address.

I suggest you call your local congressman or else they make you wait for 6 months and then say that they keep undelivered EADs for only 6 months and then destroy them.

I went thru this process so i know the pain and agony.

Cheers
