EAD card for child below 18

Hi

My I-140 is approved and I-485 is pending.

I need to apply for EAD card for my SON who is 15 yrs.

Can I apply for his EAD my self or not?

Can I sign my self as " Person preparing application" since he is minor?

Please share your experiences about this important matter.
 
May have to wait till your son turns 16

My son signed the application form when he applied for his first EAD after turning 16 (since our attorney said he had to be 16 years old before he could apply for EAD).

1- You must apply his EAD on separate application
2- He must put signature on the given column
3- I have been doing/applying last two years without any problem.
4- This year for my under-14 daughter, on EAD instead of hand-signature "SIGNATURE WAVED" stamp appears.
5- I prepare their applications, so I put my information in the " Person preparing application".

Assur, What document apart from I-485 recipt notice, we need to attach to get EAD for minor?

I am thinking of Attaching Passport copies and H-4 Approval notice and I-94 on which he entered? Does all of these are required or no need for those?

Also any extra documents that I had not listed abovc but needs there?

----------- Form I-765, fee, 2 photographs, copy of I-485 filing reciept, copy of I-94(front and back) copy of passport page that have photo,DOB ,name on it(many submit Color copy) copy of state ID or DL

Current Immigration Status for dependent entered on H4

Ginnu,

My son has entered USA on H4 in 2002. WE filed I-485 in 2003 and I am working on EAD. (No H1B since 2004). What should I enter for 'Current Immigration Status? (Point 15 in I-765 application form).

In the first posting about guidelines for filing EAD, in one place it says 'Advance Parole', if status changed after entering USA. In the same posting it says 'Parolee', if entered on 'Advance Parole', else whatever the status you have entered USA.

I am little bit confused.

I will appreciate your reply.

The only option I found is 'PAROLEE PAR'.

There is nothing as "AOS Pending' or 'Pending AOS'.

Is it OK if I use 'Parolee'
