Hello all
Starting this new thread to track EAD/AP cases filed in June-Aug 2006 timeframe.

I filed on 21st July on CSC. Havent heard anything...
 
3rd EAD receipt date - July 26 2006. Couple of LUDs on 8/9 and 8/10. No change in the message. I'm tensed too. My current EAD is valid for nearly 2months.

I did not see any update on the USCIS site for updated dates. It still shows dates from Aug 3 2006. Any inputs are appreciated.

Filed on Aug 21 thru e-filing. NSC. Yet to send the supporting docs and go to ASC for photographs
Current one expires on Nov 19th (I think)

I have one query.

I did my FP last Nov and my current EAD expires on Nov 20th. Do I have to get FP done again before I am issued renewed EAD? I have not received any FP notice. (My EAD ND date is April 4th)
 
My EAD updates

I filed electronically on aug 8 th, finger print on 24 th code 2, LUD changes 8/9, 8/12, 8/16 and 8/26.

I read in this forum that 1 dude who filed on july 24th got approved on
08/18
 
ap/ead filed and received on August 03, 06

to chicago office. Got a finger print notice scheduled on August 31 for EAD.

Question: this is my second EAD, i thought no finger print is needed. Did they mistaken my case as first time application? or finger print is needed everytime?

you HAVE to go every time you file an EAD App- call the 1-800 number to get apmnt

EAD expiring soon, renew hasn't been approved, can I continue working?

Hi all,

My family based application was filed June 05. My current EAD expires on Sept 1 06. Filed renewal and received on August 03, 06. Just got a finger print notice scheduled on August 31.

Question: If I don't get my new EAD card by Sept 01 06, can I still work? Saw some postings suggesting not work until approved, but not sure if it's the same case for family based.

My 3EAD receipt date 25 July, I have exactly the same situation as Positive4GC - LUD changed on 8/9 and 8/10, after that nothing. Maybe they are on vacation?

3EAD - all paper-based, 1- and 2nd were approved without FP. I hope paper- based still does't required FP as e-filled. Also, somebody from previous posts recently got approval on paper-based without FP.
 
Waiting for my EAD

I have applied for a family based 485 application which is pending. In the mean time I have already applied for an EAD. This is what I have done already so far:

*Sent it to Chicago lock box on 7/24/06
*Received a notice of action with a notice date 8/3/06 and receive date 7/27/06
*Received a biometrics appointment for 8/23/06. Processing center is MSC
*Completed the biometric on 8/12/06, just walked in and was able to do it without any question asked. Notice my original appointment was not until 8/23/06
*Online status updated on 8/17/06, stating that they will mail me a decision once processing is completed

I have been waiting since. What are the steps they going to do in order to complete the process? What is the normal wait time for MSC from here? Thank you for any suggestion.
 
3rd EAD approved in 3 weeks..

I applied my 3rd EAD (paper based) in TSC.

Applied Date : Aug 3, 2006.
Approved : Aug 23, 2006.
Cards recieved on Aug 25th, 2006.

Last week I checked AP processing dates in Nebraska center and it was somewhere around end of jun. This week its May 25 2006. did they backdate or it was the case ?
 
EAD/AP status

Applied for EAD and AP on August 4th

EAD approved on Aug'18th... :) waiting for AP approval.

If you do not have a valid EAD that is not expired, you cannot work regardless of what catagory you filed under.
