EAD/AP tracker (filed in June-Aug 2006 timeframe)

Friends got an email just now saying that our APs were approved

EAD - ND - 08/28/2006, RFE(Photos) - 10/05/06, RESp' RFE rcevid - 10/17/06 , AD - 10/23/06
FP - ND - 08/28/2006, RFE(Photos) - 09/26/06, RESp' RFE rcevid - 10/12/06 , AD - 11/02/06

I received an email this morning saying that my EAD has been approved and they will mail it to me when it’s ready.

It was already 90 days beyond the RD (8/3/06) so I made an InfoPASS appointment over the net. Some one from local office called me the next day and said that since they don’t issue any interim EAD, this appointment won’t help, he would send and email to the processing center and ask them to work on this case (11/3/06).

Since then I was waiting, online status showed that the MSC is processing RD 8/15 which is already passed mine (8/3).

Anyway, I hope to receive the card soon. It took me 100 days to get my EAD approved from my RD.

I have applied for a family based 485 application which is pending. In the mean time I have already applied for an EAD. This is what I have done already so far:

*Sent it to Chicago lock box on 7/24/06
*Received a notice of action with a notice date 8/3/06 and receive date 7/27/06
*Received a biometrics appointment for 8/23/06. Processing center is MSC
*Completed the biometric on 8/12/06, just walked in and was able to do it without any question asked. Notice my original appointment was not until 8/23/06
*Online status updated on 8/17/06, stating that they will mail me a decision once processing is completed

I have been waiting since. What are the steps they going to do in order to complete the process? What is the normal wait time for MSC from here? Thank you for any suggestion.
