DV 2026 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Process Only

Hi @Sm1smom ,

Hope you are doing well. Regarding the supporting document (Form I-20), two schools have issued I-20s to me. I would like to ask whether I should include only the I-20s from the school I attended, or both the I-20s from the school I attended and the I-20s from the school I did not attend.

From the school you attended only.

Hi everyone,
I am now in the process of changing from CP to AOS.
My number is current in February, but I have not received 2NL, and my case still shows "at NVC" on CEAC now.

I wrote an email on Jan. 22 to KCC to ask for changing from CP to AOS, but they replied:
"Your case number is now current for interview processing. If you are scheduled for an interview date, you will receive notification via email to check (dv website). If you need to make changes to your DS-260 you should contact the consular section where you will be interviewed, or bring the information about your changes to your interview appointment. Because your case is ready to be scheduled, KCC can no longer unlock your application."

Then I wrote email to my embassy, and they replied:
"Please contact us again once you have scheduled an interview in (my original country) and provide evidence that you are undergoing adjustment of status in the United States."

My question is, in this case, can I start sending out my AOS package? or do I need to wait for my interview is scheduled in my original country and after they know about my change?

Also on the i-485 form, part 4, 1. "Have you ever applied for an immigrant visa to obtain permanent resident status at a U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate abroad?"
For this question, do I need to answer yes bc I submitted DS260 and tried to do CP?

Thank you for your help!

You will not be penalized for joining a lawsuit, however I have no opinion as to if joining a lawsuit could help or not.

Can joining a lawsuit hurt one's DV-AOS case in any way? Ignoring for a moment the potential financial costs, what's the worst impact to the AOS case if a lawsuit is lost?
