DV 2026 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Process Only

Yeah, sorry I didn't make it clear. If in case I opt for CP, I'd have to travel to my home country for medical/interview. So in that case would it create any issue with a different university name on passport? I hope you reply. Thank you
Change of school shouldn't be a issue for CP either.

Hello Mom,
I have got selected to DV20026. I am going to do AOS. I have 2 question for you:
1. How soon should I send the AOS fee $300? my ranking number is pretty low, so my guess is that the my case will be current in October
2. Is there a way to see the whole application of DV 2026? I just don't recall what email I inserted in my application. There is no way to see the all application, but only if you win or not.
For my understanding, once I submit my payment AOS with cashier's check , the KCCDV@state.gov may send an email or mail with the receipt. So, I will need it to be attached to my AOD I-485.

Thanks and thanks for creating this forum and being so helpful.

1. You may go ahead and make the payment now.
2. No. The email address listed on the entry submission is irrelevant at this point.

Hi! I understand that it is possible to do it if they haven’t assigned you an interview slot. I was wondering if it is correct to do it. My idea is to do it so I have time to see how numbers move and change it with enough time so they wouldn't have assigned me an interview yet. I don't know if it is risky to do it, and is it better to wait until December or January to decide between AOS or CP?

Can I ask what's your country of chargeability? I'm only interested in "Cuba" or "not Cuba". You don't have to be specific in the latter case.
Anyone else with 2026SA that's from Cuba?

Of course there’s the risk of already getting scheduled (or being in line to be scheduled which will equally be too late) for a CP interview if you wait until your CN becomes current before trying to change from CP to AOS. More often than not, CP interviews gets scheduled for case that are current as soon as the VB gets released.

I can’t tell you how long you should wait before trying to change from one process to the other; or when to decide as to which process to go with. However I recommend you go through the AOS/CP pros and cons tab of the AOS process spreadsheet, that may help you with your decision.

Hello, for those who have very high number and uncertain about their cn becoming current, can they re-apply for the next dv. if they do so, would that disqualify them from the current one?

Hello! I just take a look at the documents required for AOS and i have a doubt, if i dont have a ssn and never had an income in the US I would only have to present bank statements for the financial part? And any copy of my 8843 form? Thanks!
