If you still have access to it you should be able to change the email address.I still have access to it since may 2023 but it's affiliated to my university and might someday lose access to it
No. The principal selectee has to get their DV before or with their derivatives.Hello again,
Am the primary DV selectee, + spouse and child. My spouse recently entered the US with B visa on other business matters.
Can the spouse initiate & process AOS while there, then me & child we do FTJ via CP process?
PS: just learned about FTJ from this forum, no idea how it works or eligibility.
Many thanks.
Most recent is most recent regardless of the travel endorsement date.Hi,
I saw in the "AOS package" section in Google sheets that it is recommended to include my current and past I-20s. I just wanted to confirm: for the most recent I-20, does the travel endorsement signature need to be dated within the last 6 months, or is an older signature acceptable for the adjustment of status filing?
Thank you for clarifying!
Sounds good, thanks for clarifying! Most recent is most recent regardless of the travel endorsement date.
Form G1650 is not used for making the DV administrative fee payment.Hi everyone. Do I understand correctly that if I choose to pay the DV administrative fee by ACH, I should simply include Form G-1650 with my AOS package? This would eliminate the need to wait for receipt of the confirmation when paying the fee by money order.
Ok, thanks! I got these fees mixed up. So it seems that first you need to pay DOS the $330 DV administrative fee by mailing a check (no other options are available). Then, you can pay the other fee to USCIS by either check (only works until October 29, 2025) or ACH/credit card.Form G1650 is not used for making the DV administrative fee payment.
DV administrative fee payment can be made by money order or cashiers check. AOS filing fee gets paid with money order, personal or cashiers check (until Oct. 29th); or form G1650 only after Oct. 29th.Ok, thanks! I got these fees mixed up. Hi Mom,I recall telling you back in May to hold off on submitting your DS260 form until after you had entered the US though, since you were planning on processing AOS and waiting to attend your F1 visa interview at the same time. Seems like you went ahead nonetheless and submitted the form with the CP option. Well, you might as well take the time off from your studies and attend the CP interview. You’ll need to make the DV payment at the embassy, the embassy will not honor the receipt for the payment you made in the US.
Alternative, you can contact the embassy to inform them you’ll be filing for AOS and will not be attending the interview at the embassy. Then proceed with filing for AOS and keep your fingers crossed that the KCC will retrieve your case file from the embassy when the USCIS reaches out to the KCC to request your KCC file.

AOS confirmation.Hi Mom,
Hi Mom,
I did this and haven't received anything from the embassy yet. Although I have received an email from KCC with a similar pdf attached.
Is this a confirmation for AOS or just receipt for $330 as I had paid the $330 DV fee before the AOS confirmation email from KCC and had no way to cancel.
But just a day or so back I received this email which left me confused what this is all about.

This means I can proceed with the AOS ? Although I haven't received anything from the embassy yet.AOS confirmation.
As previously stated:This means I can proceed with the AOS ? Although I haven't received anything from the embassy yet.
I had informed them regarding the case but didn't get any reply email. Could you please clarify a bit ?
As I had mentioned, KCC once told me to contact embassy. And they cannot unlock the 260 as it has been transferred to consular. Two weeks post that email I get this without any update email.
Expiration date on the form is irrelevant for your filing, it is the form's edition date that matters.Hello,
I am in process of submitting my I-485 and was working on my I-693. My physician has already filled the I-693 form last week on Monday, September 22, 2025 and sealed it. This form had the edition date 01/20/25, however the expiry date in that form is 06/30/2025. USCIS just released a new form yesterday with the same edition date but a new expiry date of 09/30/2027. Should I ask my physician to fill the form again with the new expiration date and re-seal it or the old one works?
Thanks!
Give it a bit more time. 8 - 10 weeks is not unusual. It's been almost 8 weeks and I still haven't received the receipt for the $330 DV administrative fee payment. I did a money order inquiry just to be sure and it was indeed correctly cashed by the DoS on 8/1/25. However, I noticed I wrote PO box 979097 instead of 979079 in the address. Could this be why I still haven't received my receipt and KCC still says that they haven't received the payment yet when I email them? Am I just being impatient and should wait longer?
