The AOS application has been rejected by the lockboxI honestly don’t like spending so much time answering hypothetical questions. Are you currently in a situation where your AOS application has been rejected or denied?

What was the reason for the rejection? Are you planning on refilling? The AOS application has been rejected by the lockbox
If you’re not currently employed, those financial documents cannot be used to demonstrate you’re not likely to become a public charge should you be required to demonstrate your financial self sufficiency. If I am not currently working, do I need to print out of my latest pay slips of previous job to the interview?
2. Do I also need the proof of employment?
It should be, if your sponsor’s stated income meets the applicable poverty threshold.I have submitted i-134 along with my application and I will bring them too. Is it should be enough to demonstrate?
i-134 with my US sponsor W2, employment verification.
I think the process spreadsheet also advises to include the tax return transcripts of the sponsor...I think, better double check.I have submitted i-134 along with my application and I will bring them too. Is it should be enough to demonstrate?

can I use a sponsor who is not staying in the same state as I?Hi mom,
I am on an F1 visa and my sponsor covers my tuition and living expenses while I am here; therefore, I do not have a great W2 as I only have part-time employment on campus.
1. Can I only use a bank statement with about 10,000 USD proof, not being a public charge?
2. Incase of using the I-134, does my sponsor need to send me their bank statement?
3. How do they fill question number 17 if they only have cash and no other assets
4. I paid my DV fees $330, put a self-addressed envelope, but forgot to get it stamped. what are my options for this?
Thanks.

Yes you can, as long as the sponsor is a USC or LPR who meets the applicable poverty guideline threshold.can I use a sponsor who is not staying in the same state as I?
Thanks for the reply. Just for clarification, do they need to send all the documents listed there i.e W2, tax transcript, pay slips and bank statement? Can I get their W2 and recent payslips? My sponsor is not comfortable sharing their bank statement.1. Maybe
2. Take a look at the AOS process spreadsheet for recommended list of supporting documents for an I-134.
3. N/A
4. Contact the KCC to request an email copy of your receipt payment.
Take another look at the spreadsheet - the specific documents from the sponsor are listed right in front of the cell for the I-134.Thanks for the reply. This is a big relief, thank you for the clarification! Would it still be helpful to try to do a walk-in to FO with all my Interview documents ready? I've seen from past years people successfully did a walk-in interview citing concerns around September 30 deadline. There’s no visa exhaustion concern for this FY.

1. There’s no one size fit all response for when to start getting worried about when payment has not been processed. You’ll need to be specific as to how long you’ve been waiting. Alternatively, take a look at the Timeline spreadsheet.Hello,
After how many days should I start worrying if my cashier check (I-485 filing fee) isn't cashed? If it's rejected due to the early filing policy, how long will it take for me to know? Thanks
1. Yes.Hi mom,
I really appreciate your support for us.
I had a J-1 visa with the 2-year requirement to stay in my home country, but I've never done so. Now, I'm on F-1 visa and my case number is current in September.
Does the 2-year requirement still affect my AOS? What's the fastest way to waive the 2-year requirement?
Thanks for your help in advance.
