Hello,
As of June 20th, 2025, we see the total number of issued and scheduled for an interview visas are 55944. We still have one more bulletin in 2025. 1. Can you please explain how should this number be "read".
2. Does this mean that people whose number becomes current in September may not have their visa interview scheduled as the number is already over 55 000 limit? Or even if they have an interview in September , the visas may run out by then?
Which embassy?Anyone current in August getting 2NLs yet? I'm EU 19k and got nothing yet. Should I email KCC to try to ensure my DS260 is processed?
Dublin, Ireland. My visa status check still says at NVC. Dublin seems like a fine embassy though without issues...I was just there like 3 weeks ago to renew my L1B visa stamp. They mentioned they saw my DV visa application in the system and just smiled and didn't comment much more on it. They seemed like a very efficient embassy. They had my L1B stamped and in my hands in two business days.Which embassy?
Hm, I’m a little out of touch but 4-8 weeks notice used to be the norm. If it’s mid-end August it might be coming in the next couple of weeks. Can you maybe email Dublin to ask if they’ve got the file and ready to set the appointment up?Dublin, Ireland. My visa status check still says at NVC. I'm tempted to switch to AOS, since we're already in the US. When I emailed KCC I got a stage 4 email response back which indicates that my DS260 is processed and they're waiting on the embassy to take the case. It's hard to know what's going on here. Dublin historically going through the data on your website seems to process cases right up until the end no problem with the highest case numbers. It doesn't seem like an embassy that historically has issues.
I've also seen comments on BritSimon's blog from people having the same problem with Frankfurt as well where they have not received anything yet.

I’m hoping that response is more there to deal with the people (family based visas) who still have years to go before their cases are transferred to the embassy. So I don't think they'll reply because they said that they only reply if the case is active at their post. We don't really know if they even have the case yet. According to BritSimon they will only get the case transferred to them when they ask for KCC to schedule more DV interviews. What I'm wondering is why they haven't done that. The same is happening with Frankfurt right now it looks like. When asking AI, it says that it's common to get 2NLs 1 month before the interview, so in the month of June it's common to get 2NLs for August but from what BritSimon was saying that is more unlikely it seems and there are a lot of people that have their 2NLs already for August interview it seems like...
Hopefully. I emailed last night (Sunday night my time, before they opened on Monday their time), and no response today. Hopefully they'll give out some sort of response. They have a phone number but it says it's only for emergencies.I’m hoping that response is more there to deal with the people (family based visas) who still have years to go before their cases are transferred to the embassy.

The flip side of that might be that they don’t see a need to schedule super far in advance?Hopefully. It seems like most other embassies in Europe have sent out 2NLs...Frankfurt seems to be the only other one that hasn't sent anything. This is very stressful...
I really hope that they respond.
I also used this IV scheduling tool to see what kind of wait times other immigrant visas are having in Dublin and it just seems like they aren't a slow embassy that ever has issues...especially considering when you using Xarthius's tool to look back you see they always issue visas right up to the last case numbers.
You can see in the below screenshot they had availability for June for immigrant visas as of June 3rd for interview by June 25th, or perhaps June 2025. I know it's not for diversity visas but I feel if you think about it capacity wise it seems positive to me, like it's not an overloaded embassy. The same is true for all visa categories listed there, they all had scheduling by June 25th.

Right, that is also my hopeful thinking on the situation, that maybe they're small, efficient and don't schedule too far in advance. Not sure really. I guess we'd need more data points. In my mind I always go back to the fact that they historically process right up until the final case numbers, I created a last minute visa appointment within like 6 days just a few weeks ago and had my visa in hand 2 business days later, the guy mentioned my DV visa application and just smiled a little bit but didn't say anything else about it...I feel like if there was a serious problem there he would've possibly mentioned that they don't schedule them or they're very busy etc as a courtesy...though it's possible something happened he couldn't predict of course. The flip side of that might be that they don’t see a need to schedule super far in advance?
Their status changes from "At NVC" to something different.@Xarthisius how do you know when 2NLs are sent based on your scraper tool?
Right, because I see in your table it can change on many different days but your website only updates weekly. Does that mean you're scraping all the cases continuously through the week to get a good estimate of when the 2NLs are sent out?Their status changes from "At NVC" to something different.
I do it on only Fridays, most of the time. 2nlDate is just an approximation in that sense.Right, because I see in your table it can change on many different days but your website only updates weekly.
