Hi Mom, I am about to request a call with a Tier-2 agent and need your advice. because all DV cases are expedited already, and I don't want to initiate an expedite service request, even though I have a legitimate humanitarian reason due to my family situation. I just want to bring attention to my case and get an update other than the generic updates they provide. if I simply inquire about the status, they will direct me to check online, which won't provide the details I need.
- What should I tell them during the call?
- What should I ask them to do to bring my case to the attention of my Field Office?
- How should I phrase my questions to get a meaningful update or to check my clearance and obtain the real status of my case?
I know it's too soon to panic, but I'm feeling anxious about this. Other folks from my Field Office have had their cases resolved just 2-3 weeks after their biometrics. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
