Dear All

During embassy interview for DV lottery, the consular officer asks the applicant in which state he is planning to go?

Does the name of the state increase chances of visa acceptance?

i.e Does that it mean that some states have more points and require immigrants rather than other states which do not require any more immigrants.

Any information in that regard.

No, it is not a factor in visa eligibility.
