Does change in address impact GC Processing?

Will a change in address impacts the Green Card Processing. Here is my situation:

My Labor has been cleared and I am going to file concurrently I-140 & 485 in the very near future. Presently, I live in Vienna, Virginia but I am re-locating to Atlanta, GA by first week of July, 2004. Do you suggest to file the 140/485 from VA or wait until I move to GA.

Does a change in address (in this case change in State) , delays the Green Card Processing?

Thanks a lot in advance,

------- your I-140 has to be filed by your employer and it has to be filed with service centre where your employer head office is, if employer H.Q is under VSC then file under VSC, your I-485 will be filed to the same service center ( even if you reside or work under diffrent service center)
If only I-140 is filed and I-140 is Approved then you CAN file I-485 later under YOUR residence address. nobody thease days does this they file I-140 I-485, EAD AP under employer Head office service area.

*** if you file I-485 now you can change the address on pending I-485 later, your company lawyer can do that later
