Discuss status of recent I-140 approvals

Finger Print

I was wondering if anybody got his/her finger print done recently. If yes, did that trigger an update of either 485, 140, AP, EAD, all of the above or some of the above. Usually, a finger print would only update the 485 package but not 140. If the 140 got updated as well, that is probably an indication of 140/485 concurrent adjudication.
I would like to hear some opinions on this issue.

No FP or I-140 approval yet...

but i noticed that 'last updated' date changed on both I-140, I-485 cases to 05/04/04.....

since you got your FP notice recently...did you notice the change of "last updated date", just before you got your FP??? ----

this info could be very helpful for me, since i'm waiting for my FP anxiously....

Unfortunately, my cases haven't been updated since 10/7, that is six day after my RD.
The one reason that I could think of for the recent update on your cases is that NSC is consolidating your 140 and 485 for the preparation of concurrent adjudication. If that were true, then it would be good news for many of us. We'll wait and see.
 
fp done on april 22 04

rd for concurrent file is in feb 04 and fp was done on april 22 04 . still waiting on anything getting updated for 140/485 they all still show the same dates of last updated in feb 2004 so lets just wait and watch.

Did you file in Feb 2004? Please post more details on filing Receipt / Notice dates?
May be you case will go in to concurrent adjustment 140/485 at same time?

ND on concurrent file is 02/20/2004. Any one in the same boat here ? I should be a concurrent file/ concurrent adjudication candidate because I am still waiting for my 140 also and I FP in 04/2004.
 
Number of people who filed concurrently they are getting RFE’s on 485’s.
No matter on I140 approved or Not. But things are going based on 140 filing date

THis does put a spanner on AC21 portability rule, because now there won't be any I-140 approvals with 485 pending for more than 180 days.

I guess if you receive your GC within a year of filing I-140/485, I would settle for no portability...what does everyone else think ?

My case is from 02/04 and PF done on 05/01. No update in the status yet! I have heard that FP notice is generated automatic based on your city and state backlog. Does anyone knows anything diferente?

I dont think ur case status actually gets updated on fp notice or actually fp done because i got fp'd in april 2004 with concurrent file.

I -140 approved after 4.5 months RFE response

Hi,
Finallllllllly my I -140 got approved after a long wait. My RFE was answered and NSC received on Dec 19 2003. My online status says it was approved and receipt was mailed on May 5th.
It was a great relief.
Myself and my spouse yet to get EAD and AP. I started case status referral on April 29th. The email case status showed the last update for
I -140 05/06/04 with approval message
05/04/04 for EAD/I -485 with same message received blahhhhhhhh
05/10/04 for AP.

Got my FP done on 05/07/2004. No message regarding this FP.
Recently my freind got his I -140 approval no e-mail, no status message change. He got the news from his Lawyer.
Another friend after finished his FP he status message changed that we received the FP and resumed the process BLAhhhhh.
So guys lot of bugs in email status and online status.
I -140 LIN03196**** ND June 09 2003 approved
I -485 LIN032225**** ND July 09 2003 ?????
EAD LIN032225**** ND July 09 2003 ?????
AP LIN032225****** ND July 09 2003 ?????

4.5 months, that's such a long waiting! It's not supposed to be so long after RFE. Anyway, this case has been approved. :)
My I-140 was approved one month ago, 2.5 months after RFE response. I understand how many worries and frustrations you experienced while waiting for the result.

Looks like (atleat in this NSC forum), you are the FIRST guy who filed concurrently, to get I140 approved after April 30th. So does this mean that the new USCIS memo was ignored in your case and I-140 was approved, while 485 is pending. Or, the other case could be you could see your 485 approval also PRETTY SOON, based on when you clear the FP and name check !!!

I don't want to raise your hopes, but do keep your fingers crossed. Expect the wrost and hope for the best man !!!

I don't know which Q Iam going to be. Concurrent or Non concurent or The new memo going to affect my case.
Best part is my I -140 was approved. I -485 all depends on luck. It may clear in few months or few years. Let us hope NSc will speed up clears the backlogs.

Have faith BCIS. I had to wait almost 6 months for the approval, AFTER submitting RFE response.

Here's my details.
140 ND : Aug 26,' 03
RFE : March 25,' 04 ( Education evaluation,sub lab)
RFE RD: April 08, ' 04
140 AD : May 11, ' 04
