Did anyone of May 15 Newark victims get plastic ?

I have some information for May 15th people.

My friend who is a may 15th victim called Vermont asked IIO whether his plastic card processing has been started, IIO said they haven’t received any paperwork from Newark (which Vermont is supposed to receive from the local INS office once you stamp your PP, I guess).

If this is true, those who have not gone yet to stamp the PP, better do it.

Sher, my friend\'s interpretation of IIO\'s comment that I mentioned in the previous msg is that..

He will receive the card based on the day stamping was actually done, not based on may 15th. Hope it is not true.
 
Got Notice.

Dear Friends,
             I am one of the May 15th victims. I got my PP
stamped after 3 weeks. I got a letter in the mail asking me
go on this Wednesday to get my PP stamped. What should I do?
By reading the opinion of many, we can be sure that our photos
and finger print are still with Newark. Any comments?
 
Good that fromme got a notice - atleast they are doing something though it took so long!!

Hopefully they are just calling by the collected list of may 15th applications and if you have already stamped PP, your part is done.
 
Bad news May 15th guys.

Today I went with the letter I got. They pulled out my
file and I could see the finger print paper and photos
still with them. Then I told that my PP is already stamped.
They took the letter and said they will send the file NOW
for the CARD. So people even if you went and got your PP
stamped without getting a letter from Newark, your photos
and finger print form might still be with them. Thus if you
get a letter, better go and meet them.
