Dependents TD

I got a 3 year TN on Nov 24th, 08. My wife and my son got TD for 3 yrs on the same date. I got another job now and going to get a new TN in next couple of days. My question is, do my wife and son also need to get new TD or the old one (still valid for almost 3 yrs) is going to be ok with my new TN?

Their TDs are simply based on you being in TN status, not a specific employer.

Not clear to me. Does it mean that they don't need a new TD? Or they also have to get new TD with my new TN? Please clarify... Thanks

They do not need a new TD.

Thanks for the reply. Now if my 2nd TN gets refused does it automatically cancel my first TN or I can still continue my first job?

They are separate Tns.

However, if you are the reason for the TN denial (ie. your credentials are insufficient, or you have immig intent) rather than your paperwork being incorrect (ie. poorly written letter) then it is possible that they could question your 1st TN.

But, generally, your 1st TN is safe.
