You may want to consult an Immigration Counsel as well. I am not sure if a DV Lawyer would be able to help regarding this.

thanks for the information. It won't happen again. Why would I screw my career and life unnecessarily ?. Also, I don't know the law in this country that well. I lost the temper and just lost control of my emotions.
Any way, my DV attorney also recommended me to speak to an Immigration attorney. I did speak to him today. He says, this will not effect my H1B extension. It will not effect the labor certification. He is saying that it will definitely effect the Green Car . He also said, I may not leave this country at all. If I leave this country, he said, that I will not be able to come back. Because at the port of entry, the immigration officials, will ask you if are ever arrested in the U.S on the I-94. So, I am assuming that going to India for a visit will be a distant dream until the case has fully ended conclusively.
 
Dallas BEC turned dull?

I see no approvals from DBEC.

PBEC is picing u the approvals very fast.

Looks like all the DBEC analyst are now assigned PBEC work. ;)

I have been a silent member of these forums and I received a letter yesterday from Dallas Backlog Center stating that my Labor Application has been approved. Wish all of you luck and see you in I-140 Forums.

Following members are the next in line to get approvals. I know shivab and gogia is active members. Others please reply if you did not have any RFE from state or DOL and still waiting for approval. Based on your reply we can understand whether dBEC has stopped approving RIR regional cases.

My PD is Aug 2002, Texas EB3-RIR (India). 45-day letter responded on Feb 2, 2005

Any idea why it is still pending? Anyone else with 2002 PD for EB3-RIR applications?

Am I missing some information posted here about Texas-filed LC's?

Any help will be appreciated.

Any one received approval for Labour filed from Minnesota State?

Most of the Labour filed during '03 must have got cleared and moved to Regional Chicago and then to DBEC. Folks, please update forum, if you all have any info.

As per my knowledge multiple DUI and other misdemenors like shop-lifting seriously affect GC process. Look at Murthy.com. She published a nice article on this.
 
No Approvals coming from DBEC

Though I am not at my home place, my family checks postal mail every day. So far, what I receive in my mail box is 70% junk mail, 10% offers, 10% bills, 10% miscellaneous including letters from friends and families.

Well it may take longer as holidays are already round the corner, everyone gets sluggish (except consultants and contractors).

I am keeping my hopes and expect LC in Feb/Mar-2006 (may be 2007, 8..)

45 Days letter received and replied in last week of Feb 2005
Status: Case Source: Region in (Aug 2005)
Receive Date: 01/05/2005

(Well, my previous LC from TX got cleared from previous employer after 3 years in Apr 2005, could not use it as I was already laid off)

Your signature states "NOF: Employer Existence Check Failed".
Was this included only in your 45-day letter or Did you get a seperate NOF letter indicating this?

Hi s_chicago!

Still waiting. No RFE at state. Was transfered to DOL (end Sep 2004) just before boxes transfered to DBEC. Replied to 45-Day letter mid-Feb.

I have gone through Murthy.com. It says that Misdemeanor charge effects green card. My case is still unresolved. It is related to Domestic violence. I am assuming that it will effect my green card. I will speak to Sheela Murthy. May be she will have some work around for the problem ?. Thanks for your post.
