Hi,

Lawyer inform my 45 DL a month ago. Today I ask for a copy of the letter but found my name appeared on the letter is misspelled. A letter 'I' changed to letter 'O'. Lawyer said he has informed BEC but till now without any reply.

Does anybody meet the same problem? I was hoping to get certified in this month but seems my case is screwed.

Thanks & Regards

CA EDD recipt letter of my case back to 2004 showed my correct name, I guess this is a BEC input error. They really use hands to input our material.

I wrote an email to h1b7yr@dal.dflc.us with my name (first and last), my company's name and asked for a status proof. The email is sent out yesterday morning, but I didn't have luck to get reply within 1 or 2 hours (like other people said). This morning when I came to work, I saw the reply. It is sent within a day.

I hope everyone here can get a snapshoot for their own LC application. It has all your information. Even laywer has it, it is better for us to have one to make sure the case is been processed.

The Received Date in my snapshoot is put by mistake as same as my PD, which gave me more confident that it will be processed during one month or two.

Let me know if you have any other questiones.

Isn't h1b7yr@dal.dflc.us only used for 7yr h1b extension purpose? Is this a kind of abuse?

no 45 day letter

nope. I am getting ready to file concurrent I-140 and 485 through Schedule A.

Some one please explain the meaning of the status

What is the meaning of the status "Data Review" ? Also does any one know what is the significance of the first alphabet in the case #. Most of the cases i see it as T or D.

I think email address h1b7yr@dal.dflc.us should be used only for extension purpose, there is another email address which is status@dal.dflc.us could be used for status but remember we are not the applicant. Out employer or employer agent (could be attorney) should contact them.

When case # starts with T then status should be incomplete but BEC is inconsistent about status, most of the cases have D even though data were not entered fully. Case # starts with D means Dallas BEC and P means Philadelphia BEC.

No 45 day letter yet

Case: RIR - EB2.
State: Illinois.
PD:11-17-2004.
RD:7-17-2005.
Received 45 day letter: no
Case Number: D-05199-xxxx

I was in the same dilemma. I basically forced my lawyer to get status on the application and then finally he found DBEC's address and wrote them inquiring status. We got a reply and CASE number too. The reply was pretty generic that they are working on it and blah blah .. couple of links etc. The address is as below:

U.S. Department of Labor
Employment and Training Administration
Dallas Backlog Elimination Center
700 North Pearl Street, Suite N 400
Dallas, Texas 75201

MAKE sure either the attorney or the employer sends the letter, not the alien :D

Case: RIR - EB3
State: AZ
PD:12-17-2004.
Received 45 day letter: no
Case Number: D-05210-xxxx

LC Approved - Originally filed as RIR, later remanded as Non-RIR

Hi Folks,

I have some good news for guys like me who originally file in RIR and later Remanded to state by company request to Traditional (Non-RIR) category. My attorney received the 45 day letter on May16th, 2006 and replied on May18th, 2006. Today I received the call from my attornet stating that they received the approval of my case yesterday. So the good news is no recruitment is going on. Looks like they are approving based on the original RIR recruitment. I am happy to share this as some of you may see some light on this long dark tunnel....as I saw today...Good Luck all..

My case:

CA- RIR
PD July 2001
Remanded to state as Non-RIR-Company request (Not Automatic)
May 16 2006 - 45 day letter received
May 18 2006 - 45 day letter replied
June 20 2006 - LC Approval received
