Labor is Aprrove - Atlast

My company just called me about my labor, Its been approved. I dont know the exact approval date. My company receive a fax (I believe).

Here are my details

PD : 01-Mar-2004
RD : 18-Oct-2004(Went to Region)
45 Day Letter Received/Replied : 07-Feb-2005
Labor Approved : Jan 30th 2006..(Not sure if this is the approval date).

I will be more than happy to answer questions from this forum.

Was it a EB3 or EB2 case? Which State, which DOL it went to?

OHIO Cases

I was trying to find a reason why some cases from OHIO with PD going as far back as Oct'2003 have not cleared yet whereas some with PD of March'2004 got cleared. I had filed my LC through a small consulting firm (< 50 employees). Maybe the BPC's are giving priority to cases from big corporations. Please reply with the approx. number of employees working for your filing company. This way we can atlease guess what might be happening.

Does that mean i can expect my approval in 1 month more
(PD 5/2004 RD and 45 day letter answered in Oct 2005)Is there preference for IL cases ?Any inputs.

I don't think, that should matter. I work for a small company <50. And my case status says "Data Review". That means some one started working on it and he may be on vacation or his gf dumped him. He is upset.

Anyway, here's the analysis from our tracker database: There have been 36 approvals came in from DBEC in the month of January 2006. Out of which, 28 are from Chicago DOL, 3 from SFO DOL, 1 from Dallas DOL and 4 cases from SWA. It appears like, out of 100 analysts, most analysts are assigned to work on DOL Cases whereas their boss is handling SWA cases. Poor guy, he could only clear 4 cases in new year. :)

PD 2003 or 2004 ?

Is your PD July, 22 2003 or 2004 ? There was a post from user prapathi who got his labor approved with PD of April' 2004 (from WI/EB3). I wonder why such a big gap.

I looked for your handle in the tracker database to get more info. I could not find yours. Can you share wih other info? Specifically which DOL it went to? And if you have got the screen shot, what did it say at receive date?

wow...36 Approvals in 30 days

So I wonder how many months will take to approve 350,000/36 cases accroding to my calculator 9,722 months will take to get clear Labor approval for everyone....I don't think so I am going to live that long..so before getting Labor approval I am going to die....bottom line is I should pack my stuff and happily die in India without worried about Labor.

My PD was July 22 2003 only NOT 2004. I am not sure why such big gap.
Actually couple of my coleague's who applied at same date got LC approved in Dec'10th. All our cases were almost identical and was applied at same place. We infact got our 45 day letter from Dallas in one or two days interval.

Thanks. I am not sure what you asking for. I guess I applied in SFO. I haven't seen my certificate yet. My Lawyer send me a bad TIFF image of my LC. I have requested them to send a photo copy of my LC. Once I get a copy I will let you know the details.

I think that your calculations are not correct. There are 36 approved applications in JW tracker. Don't forget that there are about 700 people in the tracker for Dallas BEC, which is approximately 0.5% of all people in Dallas BEC (1/2 of 350,000 ~ 160,000 (some are already approved)).
If I follow your logic, this would mean that there were 7200 "actual" approvals this month and Dallas BEC would be done in 22 months. I wish this was so... Unfortunately, no one know how many appovals there are per month and how they are going to handle the TR cases.

My ETA is D-05111 -XXXXX and this labor which is cleared is D-05186 -XXXXX what does this imply am i wrong in thinking my labor is approved as it has earlier ETA .Any inputs?
