Dallas Backlog Elimination Center Tracking

It is great to see so many people get approved their LC.
Does the BEC denied any cases ? Just Curious.
After 7 yeas working and 4 years waiting for the CO to open the case.
Time is too long and seem hopeless.
Recall those passed years, work is not easy.
Experienced 5 times Layoff, several salary cut ,.. and so on.
Survival and Frustration is what I left.

After several month's effort,
my boss and my boss's boss finally agree to apply through perm.
Happy Time is only good for several days.
After setup meeting with Attorney, her suggestion to my boss is to wait the BEC.
There is chance to get processed in several month's latter according her guessing.
Life is back to waiting line again.
Dream is not easy to come true, doesn't it.

Hello Icarus,

There are many cases , I know at least 25 cases with priority date before August 2002 RIR cases which went to regional office and they are not cerified. There is something fundamentally wrong here.Many of them got 45 day letters and replied.Do you have any idea on why this is happening ?

Expected approval date

I have recently found this site from a friend of mine. Its quiet informational for people like us. You guys are doing a grt job, thank you for sharing such a valuble information and plz keep up good work. I applied my G.C in April 2004, case details are at bottom of post. I know that there are lot of people waiting from 2002 and I all wish is nothing but good luck. Just wondering if I should opt for PERM or wait. If I go with later one, when can I expect my labor. Thank you in advance.

I have a priority date of May 2004 and have decided to stick with the old process instead of applying through PERM. This is because the EB2 category visa numbers will probably regress before I can get PERM approved (though there have been some posts on this forum about retaining the original priority even with a PERM filing). At that point, having an earlier priority date will help.

Hi All:

Just want to share this good news with you all. I want to thank whoever
suggested to send status e-mail to Philly even if case is in Dallas.
I sent one Dallas, did not receive any reply, so sent the same details to Philly, on Friday(08/05/2005) at 33:30 pm, got a reply from Philly BEC same
day at 4:52 pm!! It showed 2 screen shots. The first one had a different ETA
number( just 2 numbers less than original), and it showed case status as "Data Review". The second screenshot(both in the same e-mail) showed my correct ETA number and showed 'Certified' against case status field.
Thanks to Gp111, Icarus and all others who provided useful info.
My best wishes to all those who are awaiting certification.

if the rir queue is mid-feb, then whats the non-rir queue?

or there is no queue generated for non-rir?

why there is so much hate for non-rir? any info on non-rir? or simply they are planning in clearing the rir queue and start working on non-rir queue?

Do you have any idea as to what exactly is being done with the special handling cases at Dallas BEC.

All I have heard so far is about RIR and NON RIR. Was wondering if you could shed some light on that category.

My PD is 02/13/2003 RIR from Michigan with ETA D-05004-xxxx.Since you said the queue is in Mid Feb-03, do you think I should have our attoneys find out my status or should just wait for the BEC's response.

Nobody will tell you now what is going on with your personal, individual case.
