CSC Oct-Nov 2005 Filing I-140 Tracking

On the one hand you say your 140 is pending approval, and your signature says "I-140: not applied yet ".

I-140 approval depends on the I-140 Received Date (the date it was received by the CSC) and it is independent of the PD. What is your I-140 RD/ND?

Hi,
I have 140 / EB3 application pending approval with PD 5/2003. Can anyone please make any "wise guestimate" as to when we might be able to file 485? This h1 situation is making life very diffcult.
Are there any steps we can complete to get ready for filing 485 while waiting for 140 approval or even after 140 approval but waiting to file 485? like FP / medical etc?
THANKS

ohhh.. my mistake.. had not updated my signature in a while. my 140 was filed on 11/15/05.

Need Your Opinions on Two Cases

1st Case: I-140 Applied in November, 2005 for Schedule-A workers(Nurses, Physios,.. etc) from India. No labor certification process involved. Applicant in India. Nebraska Service Center.

What should be done as the next step?
Is it like consular processing?
Do we require Immigration Visa Numbers?
How long does the process take?

2nd Case: I-140 Applied in October, 2005. PD: Dec1 2002 Original Labour Application. EB3. California Service Center.

When do you think the I-485 will be open? What are the subsequent steps?

Thanks a lot.

I want to laugh

Its a big goofup from CSC.They have touched few of the oct cases but posted the update as if they completed upto OCt31.I think they will correct the dates.

The processing time does not appear to be correct. For I-140 with advanced degree the processing date is Oct 31.My ND is Oct 4th and have not received any LUDs or approval.

I guess dates are just reversed.

Currently it shows :

Advance degree or exceptional ability oct 31, 2006

Advance Degree or exceptional ability requesting a National Interest Waiver Sep 27, 2005

The correct dates may be :

Advance degree or exceptional ability Sep 27, 2005

Advance Degree or exceptional ability requesting a National Interest Waiver oct 31, 2006

I-140 Transferred to Texas

Hi,

Today, I received email with following content:

"We transferred your I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER to an office in TEXAS SERVICE CENTER for processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 to receive information about local office processing times."

Anyone have this kind of situation?

Thanks

Is Texas Serivce Center is your local office? Strange, how come they can say this when your LC is
filed in CA? They could have transferred to SFO, San Jose, LA, etc etc Local Offices, Right! but not
to Texas.

Why don't you confirm the same by calling toll free number? Its better to talk to them and find out.

It's really strange!. My LC filed in CA and my company located in CA and I also work in CA.

One more question, we need to track they are sending only EB3 applications or both (EB3 and EB2). I am EB2. But we didn't seen any posting from EB2 people yet.

Thanks

In the mean-time we figure out what cases are being transferred, I think its best idea to call them up and
find out why this thing happend? and why Texas has jurisdiction on your case? And what is the time frame
now you have to look at, since the case moved to texas? Try calling them....don't wait!

CSC I-140 transfered to TSC

I received the same message today. Substitute EB-2 I-140 with a RD of 11/14/05.

I am wrong. I just received email a few mins ago that my case has also been tranferred.

Got the same msg in the noon. I guess all cases are being transferred to TSC. I read in other thread that it may be related to security checks. any ideas?

I called National service center and it gave me the same info that was in message. it said you can get the processing times of local office frm a number that does not work. 214-381-1423.
