Hi gurus,
I am an Indian citizen and my wife is UK citizen. Since after EB2 retrogression there is not much chance for PD dec 2002 to become current for another 3-4 years, Is there anyway I can use my wife's UK citizenship for 485 filing. Thanx in advance, this forum is really helpful.

I just downloaded spreadsheet from GCAnts and updated my info on that. If that spreadsheet is not correct one, please update my info on latest one and post it here. I cannot keep track of latest updated spreadsheet !

Info: Pd: 08/12/2002 RFE for sent for I-140 on 9/14/2005, Attorney/Employer haven't received that document yet.

EAD and AP approved

wanted to share the information that my EAD and AP was approved last monday. The receipt date was 08/14/05.

Can someone help me to tell whether is it mandatory to provide last 3 years W-2's

I have 2003 and 2004 with good salary, so i have perfect w-2's and tax filing docs.

But in 2002, not much salary because of the Software slump. so if provide 2002 W-2, it will be a problem beacuse my experince in LC shows that i worked full 2002 where as my 2002 W-2 shows whole amount covers 3 months salary.

Can anyone suggest how to get out of this problem

Question about options- EB3

(EB3, filed I-140)
1. Looks like, I cannot file I-485, until visas become available. Does this mean that I cannot change employer OR is there a 180 days rule for I-140 applicants also.
2. What law exists for extension of H1B. What I found that H1B extension requires either a Labor certification pending, or I-140 is approved and I-485 is pending becasue of visa availability. What about cases if I-140 is pending?

It says:
There are two bases for extending H-1B status beyond the normal limit of 6 years. First, it can be extended if a labor certification or I-140 is filed by the end of the 5th year in H-1B status. Second, it can be extended if the employee cannot file for or complete adjustment of status because the per-country quota (i.e., for China, India, and the Philippines) is not yet current. Note that under current law, there appears to be no relief from the 6-year limit if the obstacle is the worldwide quota)

Updated the excell sheet. Dropped I-134 since that one doesn't need any
approval. Changed the dates to be consistant...

Please use this one as the updated version.

Guys, while updating the sheet you may want to add a 'comment' to the
AP/EAD column and write down the dates you actually recieved the docs.

dkgdkg, consider yourself lucky since your 140 is getting processed fast.
 
I'm updating the spreadsheet as there was LUD on my 485. I guess this is because my biometrics was done. The message has not changed though.

I was googling and came across this forums. I found this is a good place to people like us to find out what is going on with our paper work.

Anyway this is my case:

File in California service center.
H1B EB2 approved in Nov-2004 (1st time)
Labor Certf through PERM approved in June 2005 (filed in May-2005)
I-140 RD:09/08/2005 ND:09/09/2005
I-485 RD:09/08/2005 ND:09/09/2005
Called for FP appointment today 09/19/2005
Got an appointment for the next day 09/20/2005 ( I did not expect that they have so many time spot available in san jose. I thought It would schedule me sometime next month)

I am not a citizen of China, Mexico, India, or Phillipine. So my PD is current.
I hope I will get my greencard in a year or so

I have a question, what is LUD that you guys' been talking about??
I will update my case to everyone when I get it from my lawyer.

Waiting for EAD ... Advance Parole Approved

Just joined this FORUM ... It is pretty interesting. Guys I got my AP approved on Sep 16th, 2005. Still waiting on EAD. LUD keeps changing on EAD but there is NO message change. Can anyone help and explain what is going on ...??? :confused:
